Four relatives of the Texas Ebola patient who have been confined to their Dallas apartment moved to a home in a gated community the use of which was given to them by an anonymous donor, according to a Dallas city official.
The city had a difficult time finding a home for the family of Thomas Eric Duncan because no one wanted to take them in, according to Sana Syed, a spokesperson for the city of Dallas.
Cleanup crews discovered today that Duncan slept on every mattress in the apartment, said Syed. They previously thought he only slept on one.
All the mattresses, sheets and towels inside the apartment were confiscated and will be incinerated, said Syed. The cleanup will continue for several more days and the car Duncan was in before being taken to the emergency room will be towed.
The family includes two men, a 13-year-old boy named Timothy, and a woman named Louise Troh, who traveled with Duncan from Liberia and has been referred to as Duncan's wife by other family members.
Timothy's father Peterson Wayne told ABC News that he had spoken with his son by phone since he was ordered to remain inside the apartment. Wayne said that his son has been occupying his time by playing games on his phone and sounds fine but "he's the kind of kid who likes to get outside and run around."
"He said he's okay ... He sounded normal," Wayne said of his son.

Why arent these people being quarantined in a medical facility? What happens to people suspected of having tuberculosis in this country? I thought they came and got you and locked you up until they were sure you were not contagious.
Why couldn't they stay in their own apartment instead of contaminating another home and infecting more people?
Jeeez; I hadn’t even thought of that. Wow.
It’s good to see that there are still a few decent people like the “anonymous donor.” That family was locked in without any food for a day. It was several days, before the decontamination crew arrived.
the woman who traveled with Duncan?
Stupid. What crackpot did this?
Don’t encourage them fool.
At this poiny, I will find it very strange if this family does NOT develop ebola.
Probably a “nonprofit” that is run by a guy getting paid 200k a year that gets 90% of its funding from the feds.
It’s becoming pretty common now. The grant system is essentially a racket.
“moved to a home in a gated community the use of which was given to them by an anonymous donor, according to a Dallas city official. “
The pro illegal alien Judge that visited them to deliver the quarantine order ? That was my 1st thought.
That Judge is on the presser now, ‘wearing the same clothes he had on last night and in the car with the family’. The press conf. is don’t stay home, have fun, and we are being too fearful.
Wife??!!
So who was he coming to the US to marry??!!
Liars. All of them.
Deport the whole litter of them.
THEY WOULD BE SLEEPING ON A DIRT FLOOR IN THEIR COUNTRY BUT THEY COME HERE AND ENSLAVE US TO THEIR NEEDS, DEMANDS AND MULTIMILLION DOLLAR MEDICAL CARE.
So why was the family moved?
They lived in a horrible place, they needed privacy, they needed cultural respect.
Meanwhile they do a circus act with the Hazmat, yet say don’t worry.
Admonished citizens for being ‘too afraid’. It was all about the “rights” of those that might be sick (Duncan family).
He, the Judge I believe, apologized to the Duncan family.
This is beginning to sound more and more like a publicity hoax by the hour. Earlier, 3 sheriff’s deputies trapsed thru that apartment, then later a county judge with some cronies.
WHICH GATED COMMUNITY? Did their HOA inform the residents of new neighbors?
I am sure the neighbors appreciate that/s
They deserve privacy, an apology, now have laptops and a basketball. A lady that represents the area came on and it was all diversity PC.
Did admit that one of the exposed kids went to school on Wed. and was sent home but heck, the kids aren’t “sick yet” and he is wearing the same clothes he had on last night.
It was bizarre.
This is utter and complete BS about the non-risk (repeated the CDC info) or it’s BS. There is no middle.
How close is the house to where the Bushes live?
