Considering the contributions of 10 million illegals ... the cultural centers of Hollywierd, San Fransicko and LaLa Land ... dangerous and demented leadership like Nasty Pelosi, Marxine Walters, Baa Baa Box-hole, Diane Fineswine, Nostrils Waxman, and Moonbeam Brown ... all the nice things they contribute to our country like declining moral values and a falling standard of living ... I've got to go with the winner!

All the “biggies”.

I’m still planning on breaking off and falling into the ocean.

As a New Yorker, I have to say that those who did not vote to kick out New York, have never been to New York, and know nothing about New York. :)

Then again, maybe Kalifornia really is even worse.

California secession, no; Federal occupation forces by a Republican Administration pending readmission as a law abiding state, yes.

I wonder if Obama said which of the 57 states he’d want removed.

As a native Californian I can see why so many people
feel the way. For one thing Hollywood has helped to
destroy the culture of the nation. On the other hand
California did provide the world with Ronald Reagan.

Secession is old hat

The here and now (finally expressed by fox) is purgation. That is states shall be purged from the union.

I personally have promoted purging Neoeuropa. That is all the states north and east of and including New York. They are no longer American in values and should be cast out.

Great idea - California could open their borders and become a third world country without dragging the rest of us down with them...

Washington DC

It immediately fixes all the states by removing the ability for 1 state to take from another.

California is turning itself into a third world country where the vast majority of its population are uneducated peasants and illegal aliens living in abject poverty and a few politically connected elites have the wealth.

The thing is that most of the people in Northern California(Redding & north) would like to be a separate state from Sacramento South.

Similar situation has existed in NY State for 30+ years. Everyone north of Westchester county would like to be a separate state from NYC and Long Island. Same thing in OR, WA, IL, MI even MA. The more rural parts of these states do not resemble(both geographically and politically) the areas in and around the big cities.

Package deal...kick out the land mass east of Interstate 81 and north of Interstate 64 in Virginia...America would improve overnight.

You may have a point, but I’m going to go with Massachusetts, lot’s of kennedy’s and other losers came from there, Georgia for carter, Texas for LBJ, Tennessee for gore. Hell there seems to be a lot of carp out of almost every state.

Sheer innumeracy. For you unlucky states that don’t have Cal Tech, that means illiterate. With numbers.

California pays more federal income tax than ANY. OTHER. STATE. Than 10 states combined. Translation: we’re bankrolling several of your failed states. And the military. And all your life losers who move here to get on our welfare rolls. The whole COUNTRY.

Oh, but, sure, get rid of California. That’ll restore the United States to her former greatness. Stamp your feet because you allowed the border to be erased and everyone wanted to come here, not your state, so you didn’t care and did nothing about it. “Let ‘em have it! Let it burn!” Brilliant.

Give up the best farmland with the biggest economy in your country out of sheer spite. What a compelling argument.

Can we vote on cities or counties instead - I’d hate to blame some of the rural folks for the cities problems...

The states (and district) that went for Obama by the largest percentage in 2012, doubling down on the stupidity and treason that failed so spectacularly in 2008, were:

DC (91%)
Hawaii (71%)
Vermont (67%)
New York (63%)
Rhode Island (63%)
Maryland (62%),
Massachusetts (61%), and
California (60%)

Any state in which 3/5 of voters are that incurably stupid should be expelled from the union. The United States of America would be much stronger if we were united, and there is no better path to unity than to prune the Tree of Liberty before it needs to be watered. If they want back in, they can accept the rule of law, recognize that the Bill of Rights and the rest of the Constitution mean exactly what they say, and rejoin. Or they can suffocate in the decay of socialism that they currently prefer. It’s up to them.
