CLEVELAND An Ohio woman has sued a Chicago-area sperm bank after she became pregnant with sperm donated by a black man instead of a white man as she and her partner had intended.
The woman is seeking damages and wants to ensure the sperm bank doesnt make a similar mistake again.
Within days of their wedding in New York, Jennifer Cramblett and Amanda Zinkon had become pregnant with the donor sperm. In April 2012, five months into her pregnancy, Cramblett, 36, called Midwest Sperm Bank LLC outside Chicago to reserve sperm from the same donor in the hope that Zinkon, 29, would someday also have a child.
Thats when Cramblett received some disturbing news, says a lawsuit filed Monday against Midwest Sperm Bank in Cook County, Illinois: She learned from a sperm bank employee that she had been inseminated with sperm from the wrong donor.

Wow. If kids were the result of a long term committed relationship between a man and a women this would not be an issue.
Mulatto children are generally very attractive. They get the best of both races. I don’t see why this should be an issue.
So God gave these two twisted freaks a beautiful little dilemma.
Accept her and love her for who she is, or give her up.
Hilarious that a pair of narcissistic jerks would be faced with this.
Isn’t it all about inclusion and acceptance, girls?
Using the term “girl” here loosely...
Aw she’s so cute! I just want to take her in my arms and hug her. Poor thing. Not being wanted usually has a terrible effect on a child.
The poor little girl is going to need serious therapy when she gets older.
Two dyke "mothers," they ordered her "father" from a sperm catalog, they didn't get the color that they wanted so they sued the sperm seller. But they only want the money for "counseling," because they think she may be mistreated because of her skin color.
The fact that she has two dyke mothers that sued the sperm seller for selling them the wrong color sperm will not cause her any embarrassment in life, just the fact that she is half black like Obama.
I would be willing to chip in to get them the money they want if they would agree to put the little girl up for adoption by husband and wife so she doesn't have to grow up in a freak show.
When you are just ordering a product from a catalog, it is pretty easy for a clerk to mix up catalog No. 380 with No. 330.
Here is a novel idea. If you give a crap who the father of your child will be maybe you should consider, I don't know, actually meeting him? Just a thought.
Like “should’ve picked our own cotton”....she should’ve married a man.....
She paid for white and didn’t get it! It’s a suit over mislabeling of a product! This is sad, hilarious, and ridiculous, depending on how you look at it.
Even if she didn’t like men, you’d think she’d want direct knowledge of the source rather than paper assurances. On the other hand, what male friend (assuming she can find one) would giver her sperm for a private basting? There have been successful after the fact suits for child support that set precedent in exactly this situation.
She’s beautiful. I’ll take her... I would love to have another one this age.
Post of the day!!!
I feel the same way.
She has that “island girl” look. Probably turn into a real heartbreaker if she doesn’t adopt her moms’ ways.
Reducing males to sperm is against the natural order.
This sounds like it has the makings for a situation comedy. I’m surprised Hollywood hasn’t thought of it yet.
You gotta love “protected group” vs. “protected group” donnybrooks!
Homosexuals should NEVER be allowed around children. Any children.
These mental midgets should prove to the world why IVF, sperm donors, et al, including adoption should not be allowed for these “couples”.
That poor little girl, I hope god has a sharp eye out for her.
The problem could have been avoided had she met the donor, had dinner wth him and looked him in the eyes during the insemination.
The one on the right looks like John Elway.
