That got me too. So we allegedly screen for Ebola at border crossings, but what about the steady number of illegal aliens who sneak across the border? Since we don’t have secure borders, assurances that we have controls in place at border crossing stations are meaningless.

Do you kiddies know one of the many reasons why immigrants were so reviled / feared near the turn of the century in the great migration from Europe and why they were quarantined at Ellis Island and other points of entry? So are border officials going to hold illegal immigrants for a possibly lengthy incubating period to make sure that they don’t have ebola before entering the USA? Alternatively, I suppose that taxpayers can pay for medical testing to make sure that possible victims don’t have ebola.

But what happens when somebody has ebola? I doubt that there are quarantine facilities at border.
