The political will is going to be forced on Obama, whether he likes it or not.

If you keep the population in place and make sure they have food and water, they’ll be ok. I’d say in this area that most of them are probably on welfare anyway, but if they aren’t, there has to be some way of compensating businesses or employed people. Just a basic FEMA claim.

Also, we’re lucky it’s in North Texas and not a tropical area. The virus can’t survive low temperatures and seems to favor humidity, so North Texas is not a good place for it.

If they stop it NOW, they can do it. The question is how long they will drag their politically correct heels.

I think I read that it does survive at temps well below zero. Heat on the other hand at the required temperature and time is a way to ensure demise.

Who will force the will on Obama?

Look at it this way. You are a Dallas PD officer, and get a call that a group of probable infected are wandering down the street and you are supposed to go stop them.

What will you do? Confront them and risk yourself, or head for the tall grass?

In our grandfather’s day, they did enforce quarantine. They shot you, and burned you in your own house, if you tried to break it. But now we will sit back and go shopping while stepping over the woman who crashed and bled out in the supermarket.

Not that much difference. Roberts International, Liberia temperature - high 84 and low 73 yesterday. Dallas, TX - high 92 and low 72 with rain storms rolling in now.
