The sister of the first Ebola patient diagnosed in the United States says he told relatives he notified officials the first time he went to the hospital that he was visiting from Liberia.
Mai Wureh says her brother, Thomas Eric Duncan, went to a Dallas emergency room on Friday and they sent him home with antibiotics.
-snip-
In a news conference early Wednesday afternoon, Dallas ISD superintendent Mike Miles revealed that five children from four district schools were possibly exposed to the virus.
Miles identified the schools as:
Conrad High School Tasby Middle School Hotchkiss Elementary School Dan D. Rogers Elementary
The patient who was diagnosed with the Ebola virus was staying at a northeast Dallas apartment complex, according to a Dallas police spokesman.
Lt. Joel Lavender confirmed the patient was transported from the Ivy Apartments to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas on September 28.

Four different schools, excellent news! /s
According to the press conference, there are some 10,000 liberian immigrants living in Texas.
I am assuming exposed from the same source, but they are in 4 different districts? Seriously?
So can we assume that if a child got the virus on there skin or cloths and then didn’t wash it off before they made contact with someone else that they could transmit the virus without first coming down with symptoms?
There are no words that I can post here that describe what I’m thinking.
Maybe they had a big extended family homecoming and the four are cousins.
Four schools in the Dallas district (Dallas ISD)
Ebola patient #1 in America is black, an immigrant(?) and probably muslim.
Did not read the article Jim. Am asking for a favor if someone read the article. Two elementary schools are involved from snip or were attended by at a minimum of two children. Do we know why at a minimum two different children were spread out to two different elementary schools?
The welfare benefits in Dallas are good.
Not from what I have heard. But what I am hearing may be wrong.
I meant 4 schools, not districts. If they all live in the same apartment complex that makes no sense unless 4 different schools areas intersect in the same complex.
4 schools plus the Ivy Apartments in Plano, TX.
Not good.
Yet ANOTHER pit-hole.
Maybe if they volunteered to execute a suicide mission whereby children from multiple schools were exposed in an attempt to quickly spread the killer virus? Think of it as a terror attack in slow motion.. What’s the religion of this patient? Are we allowed to ask?
The cat is out of the bag.
By Christmas, we will have a serious health problem in the USA.
