Different democrat, different time.
RIP
Had that crazy hair.
RIP
Yes, sadly we see a lot of negative examples in the Left these days. I do wonder where some people went South. We know for Hillary it was her Senior year in high school.
Whether I like people or not, I still find it interesting to think of them as young children, how they acted.
In some ways, each of us are still children up until the day we die. If not, I think some of the mystery and inquisitive nature has died along the way.
That’s sad in and of itself.
Thank you.
I’ll bet everyone in his family has lots of stamps. Probably haven’t had to buy any for years.
A corrupt sleazebag politician bites the dust. Why is it a breaking news?
Same here...quite a character. Thoughts for his family
He had one weird head of hair.
Bump to the top.
You have stated a most wonderful eulogy for him.
May he have come to truly know and follow God.
"This is the man who wants to be the Commander in Chief of our U.S. Armed Forces? U.S. forces armed with what? Spitballs?"
Says he will not vote to give President a red ink pen. Say when the Fecal Matter hits the fan.

He was a better American than most in his party.
I pray he is welcomed into heaven.

James Anthony Traficant, Jr. (May 8, 1941 September 27, 2014) was a Democratic, and later independent, politician and member of the United States House of Representatives from Ohio. He represented the 17th Congressional District, which centered on his hometown of Youngstown and included parts of three counties in northeast Ohio’s Mahoning Valley. He was expelled after being convicted of taking bribes, filing false tax returns, racketeering, and forcing his aides to perform chores at his farm in Ohio and houseboat in Washington, D.C..[1] He was sentenced to prison and released on September 2, 2009, after serving a seven-year sentence.
2010 run for Congress[edit]
In September 2010, Traficant was certified to run for the same seat he held before his expulsion, and said that his platform would be to repeal the Sixteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution.[29] Traficant lost the election to his former aide Tim Ryan, to whom he lost an earlier race in 2002, in which Traficant ran as an independent from his prison cell.[21] Traficant received 30,556 votes, or 16%.
Post-prison life[edit]
After his release from prison, he was featured as a guest speaker at a Tea Party protest in Columbiana, Ohio, among other events affiliated with conservatism.[30][31]
Traficant began a grassroots campaign in July 2014, “Project Freedom USA”,[32] to, among other things, put people pressure on Congress to get rid of the IRS and “divorce” the Federal Reserve.[33
Scotty finally beamed him up.
R.I.P. James.
Oh no. My favorite democrat, one of the few I’d wizz on if they were on fire, most of the rest are family members, I hate democrats.
He started off as a typical labor union rat after unseating RINO Lyle Williams in 1984 but became increasingly conservative in the 90’s, perhaps starting to vote his conscience. With only 221 Republicans in the House he voted for Hastert as Speaker in 2001, which was met with cheers by the Republican members and caused the rats to strip him of his committee assignments.

I can’t tell you the last time prior that someone crossed party lines in the Speaker vote, it’s simply not done in the US House, much more frequent occurrence in state legislatures.
I’d have voted “no” on expelling him on those piddling charges while real criminals remained in the House.
He’s dead Jim. Beamed up to heaven.
I really liked Mr Traficant and also liked Zell Miller..Two true democrats not communist trash democrats..
RIP, Mr Traficant.
Well, if it was hair on his head it wasn’t his. I remember when he checked into prison. They made him leave the rug home-—not allowed in jail-—and the last shot of him going in showed a head as slick as they come. It’s too bad he didn’t live up to his own speeches and we know farming is the most dangerous profession. Driving a tractor is apparently another skill he didn’t have.
