[The flag of the State of New York, depicting, among other things, a weapon. Would it be banned, too?]
CBS 6 Albany reports:
"T-shirts handed out by a National Guard recruiter at a local high school have caused heated debate among parents, students and the school district. The Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk superintendent says the shirts are not appropriate for students to be wearing in school.
The T-shirts in question say National Guard across the top and then show the silhouette of a solider holding a gun in front of the American Flag. The school district says it has a very strict policy forbidding students from wearing any clothing that has a weapon on it

Sometimes you’ve really got to wonder how we came up with so many idiots in just a few short decades.
America only survives because of the military, Coast Guard, and the National Guard. Three units that prevent an invasion of America and nothing else. Those who oppose this are communists filth and not worthy to be called Americans.
It is an incestuous relationship. Marxists hire Marxists hire more Marxists until there is not even a free janitor around. I had Marxist profs in college as far back as the 50's. Others were there before them. (U of Illinois)
They will ban American flags soon as well, just like schools in CA did because it is offensive to Latinos and offends the America haters running the school. They will also likely ban the recruiters because they are from the military, which the school leadership also hate.
Sometimes youve really got to wonder how we came up with so many idiots in just a few short decades. ...................................... A gift from the late 60’s - 70’s, gotta love that flower power thinking that permeates our higher education system. So much for Freedom as we once knew it. Where are the student activists, where is the walk out and protest to send the message, “Enough Already”?
A1: “congress...shall make no law...abridging the freedom of speech..”
Is not the local public school a government entity ultimately answerable to “congress”?
The mechanism is using "school safety" as the issue.
The application is through petty school tyrants, indoctrinated in liberal causes and implementing their agenda in the developmental learning stages of the student.
The results is a new kind of obedient automaton that the new world order needs.
The superintendent is an f’in DB. Let’s see him ban every shirt that has an airplane on it, star and sickle, hammer and sickle, chef knives, baseball bats, hockey sticks, etc.
“...forbidding students from wearing any clothing that has a weapon on it .”
Let’s see, what did the Tuggs of India use? A sword? No! a hammer? no! a gun NO!
They used a garrote made of cloth, much like a common t-shirt or handkerchief.

“T-shirts handed out by a National Guard recruiter at a local high school have caused heated debate among parents, students and the school district....show the silhouette of a solider holding a gun...”
Remember, these are the Rambos that the liberal elite will expect to go door-to-door and confiscate weapons. Will they be wearing Maybelline mascara and carrying purses? Can we say castrated metrosexuals?
>>Sometimes youve really got to wonder how we came up with so many idiots in just a few short decades.<<
This is the plan to get the next generation to vote their only means of self defense down the toilet. Make them afraid of guns and they will do exactly as programmed.
Is being a certifiable, clueless idiot a prerequisite for the job of Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk superintendent, or is it just a happy coincidence that the current holder of that title has that qualification?
Yep, if this is the same Alan McCartney who was superintendent at next-door Voorheesville 25 years ago. Never explained why he moved to the lower-paying job at (downscale) Ravena.
Yes it’s him. He has a colorful past.
