Had to use tables in the back of the book. At least I didn’t have to finish the whole problem before being checked. My family would check my work each step and rather than tell me where I made a mistake they’d point out and say “is this really right?” which meant to me I made a mistake. But sometimes they’d say it to mess with my mind.
