The First Secretary of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia described the reforms which resulted in the Prague Spring as socialism with a human face. The New York Times calls Madam Secretary, CBSs extremely expensive prime time contribution to the Hillary campaign, Hillary with a human face.
A network series can cost between $3 and $4 million an episode. Assuming that Madam Secretary runs even one season, instead of being canceled ignominiously like Commander in Chief, the 2005 attempt at giving Hillary a human face, it will cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $100 million.
Thats double the $46 million that Hillarys campaign spent on TV ads against Obama and it gives the Hillary 2016 campaign over 20 hours of prime time network unpaid ad space. If the series lasts long enough to run through the whole campaign that will double to $200 million. But the Hillary 2016 campaign is expected to cost around $2 billion. CBSs $100 million donation is only a drop in a big bucket.
Theres more than a whiff of Kim Jong-Il, Stalin and Saddam Hussein about needing so many actors to portray a current politician. But Madam Secretary reeks of political insecurity. A similar series about Obama would have been worshipful. Madam Secretary is nervously revisionist. Its desperately trying to glue an appealing human face over the Hillary mask that Hillary Clinton wears over her real face.
Hillary wont be able to get anyone to play Hillary Clinton once she actually runs for office. Lori McCreary, the executive producer of Madam Secretary, said that she was inspired to create the $100 million Hillary infomercial by watching the Benghazi hearings.

The number you need to keep your eye on isn’t the total number of viewers (14 million).
The important number is how many viewers ages 18-49 watched?
Viewers 18-49 is the ONLY metric the networks care about.
This show got a 1.9 in 18-49. With a football lead-in, which is absolutely your best chance to build an audience, a 1.9 can only be described as fair, at best.
The show is going to have to vastly improve its number in the 18-49 bracket to stay on the air... UNLESS the net is willing to sacrifice money and broadcast real estate to push a political agenda, much as HBO keeps money-loser Bill Maher on the air.
“Madam Secretary” is kind of like “West Wing” - the kindly, gentler version of how the Democrats WANT to appear. The participants are always smarter, more astute, and more successful in their risk-taking schemes than reality would support.
Excellent fantasy fare, but probably less connected to the real world than the plot line on “Resurrection” which ran at the same time on ABC Sunday night.
I watched it and I did not see any resemblance to Hillary.
...
I think that’s the point. The real Hillary is repulsive. They want an idealized and attractive SoS to rub off on the Beast.
Bravo for a 6 syllibiler
LIBs/DIMs will think it is a news reel or documantary.
I think I am smart enough not to be brainwashed by a stupid TV show without nannies or censors telling me not to watch it.
If the feminazi test doesn’t work the first time, try it again. The result will be similar. Have fun. Enjoy Obama 2.0.
Conflation requires at least some similarity in events/persons.
They may, in fact, have intended conflation. If they did, it was a big, fat fail. They only succeeded in pointing out the glaring contrasts, making Hillary all the more difficult to stomach, much less support.
have you notice how her girlfriends are “resigning” from their academic positions as presidents of universities? Hillary is getting her carpet band back together.
Some of it, I wait until it’s free to watch. Like the junk on Redbox.
Most if it, I don’t even bother since I won’t watch demo agit-prop.
Geena davis is an avowed Conservative. Women (at least the women who are inclined to vote for Hillary) won't tune in to watch Geena. Tea Loene is a known Liberal hag. She can get the viewers that Geena couldn't. Plus, this isn't about the presidency per se. It will start with Sec'y of State. We'll see where it goes.
Wouldn’t be the first time.
Rent the Michael Douglas flick “American President” and then tell me that all the bigwigs in Hollywood didn’t know that Monica was coming.
Tea Leone, of course she’s Liberal or she wouldn’t be doing this role.
She is a hottie though. Loved her in Family Man.
I got fed up with him when I found out he was sleeping with his Step-Granddaughter and his wife divorced him.
Well I got one better, “Wag the Dog”. That movie was made in and around the time of the Lewinsky mess by a boatload of Liberals.
I remember a story of the production of that movie, The cast in was in D.C. filming and Clinton was going out to dinner at a restaurant and saw all of them at table eating and asked them what the movie was about and not a one would tell him the truth. Talk about Hypocrisy!!!!!!!!!!
Geena Davis is a Conservative? Do tell where you come by that info.
