Never before have I felt so naked.
Now more than ever, I wish I was armed.
And Im not alone.
Any and all home-grown Islamic terrorism should be able, if need be, to be met by a well-armed civilian militia. The United Kingdom has had two beheadings of members of the public in the last two years, with neither police nor civilians able to prevent it. It has prohibitive gun laws.
With news of the ISIS plot to randomly abduct members of the Australian public and behead them, Australian sentiment on guns is dramatically shifting.
It appears Australians are finally understanding the importance of gun ownership and craving it at a time when the world is increasingly unsafe.

Let us not ever be in the situation that we have to wish
NO...they shoot dogs now, or haven’t you been keeping up with the news? Even the police now shoot the dog first then confront the owner. One, two, or three dogs are just eliminated first.
We can own a lot more than that - but a double barreled shotgun is really quite easy (covered under a standard A/B licence, which, unless they have a criminal record, can be obtained by virtually anyone),
I'm really getting rather sick of people misrepresenting Australian gun laws for propaganda purposes in other countries - it leads to honest and innocent people repeating the misrepresentations in good faith and so they spread further. Including in many cases, spreading back into Australia - the number of people I know who think guns are harder to own here than they actually are, and so never bother actually trying is astonishing. It seems to be a common tactic among the left - convince people something is illegal, even if it isn't, and you stop them exercising rights they still legally have.
And at the moment I actually think that is quite dangerous. Because the myth that Australians are disarmed makes it more likely that fifth columnist elements in Australia are likely to think they can attack people with impunity.
ARE YOU LISTENING, TONY ABBOTT???
If you are WISHING you had a gun it is too late. All you have left is HOPING a crazed muslime doesn’t grab you. If you are THINKING the government will save you, well, you can do some PRAYING prior to getting your head separated from your neck.
Even good small dogs, with great bark.
But if an Aussie does smackdown on a fanatical muzzie, guess who winds up in gaol?
Just got my concealed carry permit here in Yankland. The muzzies in our midst are scared s***less of all us armed “infidels”. Don’t forget we’ve got semi-auto’s too. Puts a kink in their jihad for those b@stards, I dare say.
How did the Cronulla aftermath go down? Who wound up as the bad guys in that dustup? Google & see.
Maybe the freest blokes after all in Down Under are the bushrangers. Got their guns now, don’t they?
The Australians are far,far ahead of US on illegal immigration.
The US should be looking to Australia for idea leadership regarding immigration.
I think we should use the meh-eek-an rules. Get tossed in the slammer and they’ll get to you at a date to be determined later. Kinda what they’re doing to the Marine currently.
This surprises me. What does Crocodile Dundee hunt with? I have to wonder if they allow shotguns and rifles for hunting - just no hand guns? They are such an independent people (in my mind) I just figured they had guns.
They also have commie politicians who took their guns away
They allow some guns. I just don’t know how hard it is to get one there.
In Australia, civilians are not allowed to possess automatic and semi-automatic firearms, self-loading and pump action shotguns, handguns with a calibre in excess of .38in with only narrow exemptions, semi-automatic handguns with a barrel length less than 120mm, and revolvers with a barrel length less than 100mm93 94 63 95 96 97 98 99 100 101 102
Applicants for a gun owners licence in Australia are required to prove genuine reason to possess a firearm, for example, hunting, target shooting, collection, pest control, and narrow occupational uses.123 124 125 126 127 128 129 130 131

I’m not sure about the current availability of firearms down under. I do know that the government seized hundreds of thousands of them and torched them or cut them up for scrap. Crockie uses a nuife. There is no charter in Australia that has any gun rights afforded the citizens. I know someone out there has pictures of them doing the dirty work of destroying millions of dollars worth of weapons. Of course, the bad guys still didn’t and don’t care.
Thanks for that.
OMG! Those pictures makes me want to cry. So wasteful!
Americans advised you years ago that fear of guns was a form of retardation and that you would regret being disarmed but Australians argued that be Americans are barbarians for supporting the Second Amendment.
As usual America was right.
Gotcha, no dogs as they are worthless.
I’ll get rid of all five of them the minute I get home tonight. Especially the pit mix which has I guess accidentally run off several neighborhood thugs in the past.
Should I shoot them or just turn them loose on the freeway?
Seriously, are you on drugs? Some comments are just idiotic.
My comment on dogs was not to say they are not good at warning you of an intruder, and sometimes they will be able to attack, but as we have seen in recent months...even the police will shoot the dog first. Do you really think any terrorist would hesitate in beheading your dog first? Or shooting them.
Have you ever been attacked and had to defend yourself?
I guess you didn't see my post where I said TWO BIG DOGS will do the trick.
