White House intruder was carrying a knife, court document says

The White House intruder who jumped a security fence on Friday and got inside the presidential mansion was carrying a knife, according to the criminal complaint obtained by Fox News and contrary to initial reports that the man was unarmed.
According to the complaint filed in federal court, 42-year-old Omar J. Gonzales, of Copperas Cove, Texas, had a concealed black folding knife when Secret Service agents apprehended him inside the north White House door that faces Pennsylvania Avenue.
After he was arrested, he told a Secret Service agent that "he was concerned the atmosphere was collapsing and needed to get the information to the President of the United States so he could get the word out to the people," the document says.

So, he was hoping the Secret Service would kill him? suicide by cop writ large? I sincerely hope he gets the help he needs.

Agree. It'll cost me a $300.00 fine and 90 days in jail and probably a permanent loss of a license to carry firearms. As long as it isn't WROL, I'm not that much of an anarchist.

Great logic they are using. The guy jumps a fence and gets in. The SS decides to frisk tourists who aren’t jumping fences and are usually docile. That is some weird logic.

1. Build a 100 foot form around the Whitehouse lawn.
2. Invite all cabinet members and executive office personnel to a Whitehouse meeting with Obama.
3. When the meeting is taking place, fill the entire form with concrete (alternative #2 would be hog crap)
4. Whitehouse will now be secure from breakins and 99.99% of artillery / rocket / missile fire.
