The U.S. Army is opening the door for women to go to Ranger school.
It's one of the first steps in the broader effort to allow women to begin moving into more grueling combat jobs.

Any society that sends its women to fight before it sends non-shaving boys and cane-borne old men deserves to be destroyed, and will be by societies that do not make that mistake.
This whole thing is as wrong as a soup sandwich. You’re entirely too close to the truth with your scenario.
As long as the very high Ranger standards are met, I am OK with allowing women to compete. If standards are lowered, well then, those who pass the new lowered standards, by definition ARE NOT true Rangers.

Thank you for protecting us through thick and thin. It is appreciated. But any red blooded American man who forbids red blooded American Grizzly MaMa types, who are willing and able to serve their beloved country as THEY choose and qualify for, those men can neither be called patriots nor American.

They could work with her. She is already aggressive and has good upper body strength for a woman. :)

The idea with these “Let’s include women!” programs is that standards are ALWAYS lowered until women do pass.
They won’t flunk out.
Most will quit—just like men, but a few will be allowed to graduate no matter what. Political theater played out on a huge scale. Cost and consequences be damned.

Hard to believe the Army brass is OK with women getting their faces shot off in combat.
