Nah, we’re not evolving, we’re simply acclamating, or a function of nurture. We don’t have to exert intellect, then the intellect atrophies. We are potentially much smarter, but we don’t nurture the mind.

Technology has eliminated the need for many previously learned skills.

How many of us can hand write a letter with correct spelling. How many of us can actually solve algebraic equations with pencil and paper. How many of us can recall defintions/facts from memory without having to Google? being less smart or able to do old skills does not necessarily equate to stupidity. Common sense is another matter though.

The most important IQ is the one involving Survival and how we live. You don’t need an IQ test to look around and see thing are going massively down hill.
