Congressman Jason Chaffetz broke this shocking news Wednesday that four known terrorists were apprehended at the US border in Texas on September 10 – the day before the 13th anniversary of the 9-11 attacks.
Chaffetz questioned Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson on whether he is “aware of any apprehensions of suspected or known terrorists.” Johnson dodged the question.

IF this is true, these had to be the world’s stupidest terrorists. An elephant accompanied by a Mariachi band crossed incognito and these virgin chasing cepecs got caught?
Their first order of business is and has been to deny those with terrorist ties have been or are entering the US from the south...Once that gets out and is established, excuses for not fully securing the borders will become extremely suspect and inexcusable.
After they checked into their $10,000 a week luxury hotel and picked up their BMW 750s. Hmmm, I wonder who will pay for it?

BTW, it would not take much for these well funded terrorist organizations to infect 20 or 30 of their “warriors” with EBOLA, instead of bomb belts....
Their mission is to enter the U.S. through Mexico or any weak link and to board as many domestic airliners/subways/buses as possible until their are detected or die.
They could cross the country back and forth, covering all points in a matter of a few days.

Did too many know about it at the time of apprehension? Damning irrefutable evidence found? Did they think it would leaked before they could step in and put a lid on it?

Yes, if someone is willing to become a suicide bomber, they would be willing to attempt to spread Ebola. However, sanitary conditions in the US are likely somewhat better than they may be In rural villages of Liberia and cultural practices in the US that do not include handing the bodily fluids of our family members that may have Ebola.
There would not be a massive Ebola outbreak in the US or Western Europe, but other areas of the world such as rural areas of India and China may be impacted.
I would be more concerned about a more pedestrian disease like the flu, which will kill around 30,000 Americans in the next year.
The terrorists could develop a strain that was not just deadly, but unexpected by the CDC and then spread that in population centers.
