Biden's foot in mouth disease should prohibit from running for president but I say "Run Joe, Run"

"When someone as friendly to the Jewish community and open and tolerant an individual as is Vice President Joe Biden, uses the term 'Shylocked' to describe unscrupulous moneylenders dealing with service men and women, we see once again how deeply embedded this stereotype about Jews is in society," Foxman said in a statement

No fan of Biden, but he probably didn’t even know the character Shylock was Jewish......................

Biden and the other followers of the democrat know, that they can say anything they want about blacks, hispanics and Jews and hispanics, blacks and Jews will still vote democrat, democrat, democrat.

But I thought we were the Neanderthals? Of course I am 50. I do know Jewish people. I have read Shakespeare.
That said, can I still what a putz! o:-)

What about the politicians and corrupt postmen who took advantage of these men and women when they tried to vote overseas and had their ballots “delayed” and “denied”?

If this situation were slightly different, say a republican commenting on women who support abortion on demand, the word would not be "chastised" it would be "outraged" or "furious".
Remember that Dan Rather received mild criticism for using the term "buckwheats" which is an archaic racial slur aimed at blacks. I am proud to say that I am the one who got that ball rolling right here on FR when my part of my post was quoted verbatim by the Rev. Jesse Peterson a few days later in the LA times.

“More careful” and Biden in the same sentence. Now, that is really a joke.

Sad to say, I with for Biden on this one.
If he wants to use “Shylock” to describe banks and business that try to take advantage of service members while they are overseas, I am fine with it.
The ADL needs to get a thicker skin.

tired of "tolerance" and "inclusiveness" being invoked as the one and only justification for the right to practice the Jewish religion. This is the religion that
invented Theocracy (and the only one to ever actually practice it!). Have these idiots ever heard of Pinechas Ben 'El`azar of Yehoshu`a Bin Nun
at all???And the way some American conservatives defend the "enlightenment" I don't think they'd be overjoyed to see the return of full-throttle normative Theocratic Judaism either!
Abe Foxman's sole goal in life seems to perpetuate faux Galut "Jewishness" (Hollywood, bankers, the ACLU) as the universal Jewish stereotype.

Give me a break. The thing that ticks me off is the untrue nonsense that people who SIGNED contracts were taken advantage of when they could not fulfill the conditions of the contract and had to leave their house. They signed the damned mortgage. Again Biden lies but that’s nothing new.

We must be kind to Biden, because like most Americans, the only Shakespeare play he probably has ever read was back in high school many, many years ago.
When Biden overhears someone mention "The Merchant of Venice", Biden probably thinks the person is talking about some businessman in Venice Italy.
So let's not be too hard on Biden.

Biden needs to be put back in the attic.
