Sept 16 (Reuters) - Anheuser-Busch publicly chastised the National Football League on Tuesday for its handling of domestic violence cases, making the NFL's official beer sponsor the first major advertiser to put pressure on America's most popular sports league.
In a brief but strongly worded statement, Anheuser-Busch, the maker of Budweiser and NFL official beer Bud Light, said it was "disappointed and increasingly concerned by the recent incidents that have overshadowed this NFL season.
"We are not yet satisfied with the league's handling of behaviors that so clearly go against our own company culture and moral code."

Isn’t this attack on black cowards who beat their children a bit racist? /s
I call shenanigans on the title. A-B does not make beer, they make ‘beer’.
Partner abuse, child abuse, alcoholism, DUI mayhem, liver damage, bar fights, riots, white people dancing, the list of alcohol induced problems is long. Perhaps they should just shut up and hope nobody points out that Ray Rice and his fiancee were both fall down drunk!
STANDING FOR TRUTH. JUSTICE.
AND REALLY CRAPPY BEER.
I’m trying to think of when this “trial by media” went in to hyper-mode. I’m thinking it was almost 3 years ago. Trying to put my finger on it. Can’t remember the guy’s name that was wronged for no reason. Some old guy.
It’ll come to me.
Aaron...Go Gators! /s

ROFLMAO!!!!!
the nfl and the budweiser phonies can go blow it out their fat arses.....
Guns kill people?
That’s right...Aaron.
LOL. Anheuser-Busch sells BEER, which plays a significant role in a majority of domestic violence cases.
Postal workers are not on TV and in the public eye representing their employers.
“So, youre saying the cops, courts and the justice system has nothing to say?”
They have a say in who gets charged and convicted. Like the baseball player that got caught going 110 in a 70 zone. Charges dismissed. I don’t think you or I would get off the same way.
Like Ray Price .... Pre-court intervention program for NON-VIOLENT offenses where there is no victim. LOL!
Yes, I know that. What did I say made you think not?
I’m sayin’ I think the ol’ proverbial “THEY” are pulling something. I don’t know what, but something is coming down with all this unnecessary, and I think trumped up attention. I made a stab at a guess. Of course I could be wrong on that, but something is up for all this nonsensical attention to the NFL over the recent past.
Where there’s smoke there’s fire. Just sayin’.
