Germans were confronted with imagesoftheir country’s dark past on Monday night, when German public broadcaster ZDF showed video of Ukrainian soldiers with Nazi symbols on their helmets in its evening newscast. In a report on the fragile cease-fire in eastern Ukraine, Moscow correspondent Bernhard Lichte used pictures of a soldier wearing a combat helmet with the "SS runes" of Hitler’s infamous black-uniformed elite corps.

I wonder how deep the Nazi roots run in Ukraine, if at all? Still another reason for the US to stay out of there.
They do that, because some of them are real Nazis, and the others just want to piss the Russians off. Woe to those who get captured . . . .
In WWII the Nazis killed Ukrainians by the hundreds of thousands after the Soviets had killed millions more in the 1930’s. The SS were especially brutal.

I believe NBC has it BACKWARDS. The Nazi flag-like symbols were on the helmets of the pro-Russian “rebels” fighting in Eastern Ukraine.
How about some lethal military aid. You know, like the Russians are doing.
