What happened in Ferguson, Mo., last month was a tragedy. Whats on course to happen there next month will be a farce.
October is when a grand jury is expected to decide whether to indict the white police officer, Darren Wilson, who killed an unarmed black teenager by firing at least six bullets into him. Its a good bet the grand jurors wont charge him, because all signs indicate that the St. Louis County prosecutor, Robert McCulloch, doesnt want them to.
The latest evidence that the fix is in came this week from The Posts Kimberly Kindy and Carol Leonnig, who discovered that McCullochs office has declined so far to recommend any charges to the grand jury. Instead, McCullochs prosecutors handling the case are taking the highly unusual course of dumping all evidence on the jurors and leaving them to make sense of it....

The latest evidence that the fix is in...To a leftist justice is a 'fix' when it doesn't comport with their bizarre notions of reality.

Perhaps they will prosecute Scooter Libby for the tragedy in Ferguson. They do like to prosecute people, and he worked out pretty well last time.

"Several witnesses including those in a newly discovered video showing the immediate aftermath of the shooting claim that Brown had his hands up in surrender. The alternative account offered by Wilson Brown charged at him requires us to believe that the unarmed and wounded man ran away, reconsidered and ran back toward the man pointing a gun at him."The problem is that scenario doesn't fit the autopsy findings. Autopsies don't lie.
"And McCulloch wont have his prosecutors recommend even involuntary manslaughter?"
If the officer didn't do anything except try to save his own life from a charging 300 pound felon who was apparently high on drugs, why would he? (Why not charge him with witchcraft?)

They aren’t interested in justice, what they really want is a lynching of officer Wilson. The irony of this is lost on those calling for it.

Robert McCulloch doesn't have anything to do with what the grand jury decides. In fact I believe the assistant county prosecutor is the one dealing with the grand jury.
St Louis county prosecutor
The Grand Jury is composed of twelve citizens who are chosen at random by a circuit judge, who presides over the Grand Jury. A new Grand Jury is chosen for each of the three Terms of Court held each year. Since the St. Louis County Grand Jury meets every Wednesday during the term, a Grand Juror can expect to serve approximately sixteen to twenty days during that period.
The Grand Jury's function is to make an important preliminary decision about a criminal charge: whether or not probable cause exists that a crime has been committed and that the accused committed it. All felony charges must be presented for consideration either by the Grand Jury or by an associate circuit judge at a preliminary examination, and a little less than half of the cases prosecuted in St. Louis County are presented to the Grand Jury. If probable cause is found in either of these equivalent proceedings, a "True Bill" is found, an indictment is filed, and the criminal charge against the accused may continue on to trial or plea of guilty. If probable cause is not found, a "No True Bill" is found, and prosecution of the case ceases. The Grand Jury, thus, determines the future of all criminal cases brought before it.

I think Wilson will get off local and state charges. Then we will see what kind of balls the racist demagogue Eric Holder has. Will he swoop in with some BS Federale charges? I rate this at 50% chance and not before the November elections

McCullochs office claims that this is a way to give more authority to the grand jurors, but it looks more like a way to avoid charging Wilson at allWell knock me over with a feather.
This leftist writer, Milbank, seems to know more about the case and the evidence than St. Louis County prosecutor, Robert McCulloch.
Maybe Milbank can just indict, try, find guilt and sentence officer Wilson and save taxpayers all the expense. /sarc

handling the case are taking the highly unusual course of dumping all evidence on the jurors and leaving them to make sense of it.... Ha ha. That's because the evidence presented with ANY hint of logic immediately shows that the officer was innocent.
