David Haines 'beheading': Latest updates after ISIS video claiming to show execution of British hostage

A new video has been released by militants purporting to show the 44-year-old aid worker being executed

The terrain in the new ISIS video appears very similar to the background where Steven Sotloff was beheaded.

Based on his appearance and voice, we believe the executioner is also the same - the infamous Jihadi John.

The killer, who is believed to be British and has a London accent, was first shown beheading American journalist James Foley, 40, in August.

Haines was taken hostage in the village of Atmeh, in the Idlib province of Syria, in March 2013. He had been helping French agency Acted deliver humanitarian aid

Looks like green screen to me.. I said this back during the first beheading and got flogged here at FR. I STILL say it's green screen and even the beheadings might be post-production manipulation. Probably all done in one studio sitting, multiple hostages one after the other. Possibly all just Hollywood magic.

How do we know these videos were even done in the Middle East? Could have been done at CIA headquarters for all I know.. Remember the YouTube video guy that got arrested, jailed, now where the hell is he and does anyone even care?

The background is edited in to prevent their location from being identified. It’s probably outdoors somewhere, because their clothing seems to be moving in the wind, and beheading is a messy process. But they don’t want anyone to be able to see anything that might tip us off.

I have been thinking about that a lot. I believe they have bargained with them for a quick beheading with an axe post-filming ( where no cutting is actually taking place).

Or quite possibly they believe it will not really happen, at least not yet.
