Those who hate Israel hate America, he continued, as the boos and calls for him to leave the stage got louder. Those who hate Jews hate Christians. If those in this room will not recognize that, then my heart weeps. If you hate the Jewish people you are not reflecting the teachings of Christ. And the very same people who persecute and murder Christians right now, who crucify Christians, who behead children, are the very same people who target Jews for their faith, for the same reason.

Remember the DNC Convention, Democrats Booed God Almighty, so why are we surprised that they Boo Senator Cruz?
He is after all just a Mortal Man.
True. I noticed tonight that when Megyn said her usual awkward thank you good to see you where the guest usually stammers, she said instead, thank you senator Cruz, SIR.
Yes, Jane. My post was 2 minutes behind.
Disagree. Cruz was brilliant. The last thing we need is another pvssy in the White House who won’t “diplomatically insult” someone.
Hey, Pootie Poot - you listening?
Middle East Christians are the biggest Jew-haters I've ever seen. They act like coward dhimmies. Get their butts handed to them by the Moslems, getting exterminatedand they come to my church at Christmas time selling carved knick-knacks and complaining about how the JEWS in Israel are hurting their business by taking security measures.
Do I understand correctly that Middle Eastern Christians are largely ethnic Arabs and that they have been submissive to the Muslim majority for hundreds of years, including their dimmitude under the Ottoman Empire? As such, am I correct in understanding that they have fallen dutifully in line with Muslim hatred toward Jews, to include adopting the convenient philosophy Replacement Theology? I'm actually hoping this is the reason, rather than being forced to conclude that they have had a hate on for the Jews for two millennia.
"Disagree. Cruz was brilliant. The last thing we need is another pvssy in the White House who wont diplomatically insult someone."
Starting at about 0:12 in the video that I saw, Cruz used the line which was something similar to, "some are so consumed with hate." Regardless if his statement was justified, those boing are going to be insulted and boo even louder. So Cruz lost control of the show.
Cruz's problem is that he evidently didn't take an elective in child psychology at Harvard.
Senator Cruz was the invited keynote speaker at the Conference for Middle Eastern Christians. Obviously, these people didn't bestow this honor upon Senator Cruz without knowing the nature of his strongly held and often-spoken beliefs. I'm going to presume this was a set up by them. Equally obvious to me is that Senator Cruz is nobody's fool and he likewise knew the nature of his intended audience. Nevertheless, he willingly entered the lion's den, stood proudly before Middle Eastern "Christian" people, and delivered these remarks in the strong, clear voice of truth as the catcalls, boos and demands for him to stop speaking rose to a crescendo:
Tonight, we are all united in defense of Christians. Tonight, we are all united in defense of Jews. Tonight, we are all united in defense of people of good faith, who are standing together against those who would persecute and murder those who dare disagree with their religious teachings.
Religious bigotry is a cancer with many manifestations. ISIS, al-Qaida, Hezbollah, Hamas, state sponsors like Syria and Iran, are all engaged in a vicious genocidal campaign to destroy religious minorities in the Middle East. Sometimes we are told not to loop these groups together, that we have to understand their so called nuances and differences. But we shouldnt try to parse different manifestations of evil that are on a murderous rampage through the region. Hate is hate, and murder is murder. Our purpose here tonight is to highlight a terrible injustice, a humanitarian crisis.
Christians have no greater ally than Israel. Those who hate Israel hate America.
If you will not stand with Israel and the Jews, then I will not stand with you. Good night, and God bless.
And with that, he walked off the stage
Please explain.
Cruz replay on Megyn right now. He is disgusted. I cannot wait to vote him into the White House, never seen him so resolved.
How do you know this? If this s true, can you explain why they vote Democrat? How do Coptic immigrants vote?
In that room, how many of those so called Christians do you think would vote for a Republican?
I just heard the Ted Cruz/ Meghan Kelly interview about Obama’s speech. Every time I hear him speak, I come away with the exact same feeling about him and his positions as I did when I heard the radio addresses of Ronald Reagan before he ran for President. Deja Vu all over again!
Dr. Zogby, in fact, did just that:
I am participating in the event both as an advisor to the group and a speaker. In the first place, I am a Maronite Catholic and an Arab-American, deeply committed to my heritage and the land of my father and forefathers, and concerned about the survival of my rite and that of the other Christian communities in the Arab World. I am also participating because I am an American who believes that my country, and the West in general, has, on too many occasions, negatively contributed to the conflicts that are unsettling the Middle East today.
Those who applauded Cruz as he left may well vote Republican, though I am still looking for guidance on Christian Arab voting patterns. The IDC Board has a mix of Democrats and Republicans.
Moral clarity coupled to strength of character.
