Memphis, Tenn. (CBS ST. LOUIS) – Memphis police are investigating a gang-related beating of two teenage Kroger employees and a customer, with one victim knocked unconscious in a violent viral video.
The video circulating social media shows a large group of African-American teenagers swarming a teenage Kroger employee late Saturday night in the store’s parking lot in Memphis, WMC-TV reports. According to police, a 25-year-old customer was attacked by the group who were chanting “fam mob” – a Memphis-based gang — after coming from a nearby CiCi’s Pizza.
Two teenage employees were attacked while trying to stop the group’s parking lot attack on the man but were “struck several times in the head and face while being knocked to the ground,” according to police. The video shows one employee taking numerous punches and kicks to the face as some attackers threw large pumpkins at the teen until he was knocked unconscious.
The victims were treated on the scene for their injuries and all three refused to be taken to the hospital, WMC reports. The incident remains under investigation and a store surveillance video recorded the attack in addition to the cellphone video circulating social media outlets.
At one point in the shaky video, the woman holding the camera can be heard saying “they got a white dude” as the group of teens approaches the Kroger entrance from the parking lot. A security guard is seen handing his phone off to the woman recording the event as he attempts to break up the group from repeatedly kicking the employee in the face while on the ground.
At the 1:10 mark the woman recording the video on her cellphone is heard saying, “somebody call somebody.”
The video ends showing the employee lying motionless on the ground as several people are knelt around helping him amid several pumpkins around the teen.
The Memphis Police Department issued the following statement regarding the incident: “We are fully aware of the last night’s incidents. It is extremely troubling to see how many young people were involved, especially on the heels of last week’s youth forum. A lot of our citizens are working to provide safe and productive alternatives for our youth. For those that choose not to take advantage of these opportunities, we will work tirelessly to identify, locate and hold you accountable. Last night’s events clearly demonstrates a lack of parental controls and if warranted these parents will also be held accountable.”
On Sunday, Memphis Police Director Toney Armstrong, Memphis Mayor A C Wharton and other city officials held a news conference to respond to the incident and send a message to the parents of the group of young men responsible for the crime.
“We will be meeting this week and I think in the days to come we are going to sit down and try to craft a plan where we can hold parents for your kids actions especially in those incidents where we can prove that you were fully aware of your kids actions but chose not to step in,” said Armstrong.
Perhaps there should be "safe and productive alternative" to teaching black children that they are born Victims and therefore entitled to do unto others who are apparently born Oppressors.

Remember that when ‘moderate’ Muslims do bring themselves to half-heartedly condemn Islamic terrorism, it’s always qualified with what we did to provoke them.
The group was chanting “fam mob”.It’s all about tribal warfare with these brutes.It’s the same here or in Africa.

Kroger Anon, being beaten to the ground and then head-stomped is attempted murder. Plenty of times, that same type of attack results in death, permanent brain damage, and permanent facial disfiguration. I am too old to engage in hand-to-hand combat with an enraged mob of feral “youths” so instead, I will exercise my right to self defense with “hand-to-bullet” combat. I won’t be beaten to the ground to have my brains stomped out. I will unload a full magazine of 9mm hollowpoints into such a mob as soon as the first blow is thrown. Going to the ground meekly can mean death or brain damage, and I’m not going to the ground without fighting for my life. In my case (and for millions of other older citizens) that means fighting with a legally concealed pistol. Too bad that you are so damaged by political correctness that you would rather see a fellow human head-stomped than to see that person defend his life with a pistol.

Be aware also that “Moms Demand Action” also whine and snivel that Kroger stores allow “open carry”.
As is the case of Panera Bread prohibiting law-abiding citizens being armed and numerous cases in which a Dominoes delivery driver was fired after successfully defending self using a firearm, let alone Ferguson and Trayvon, there is one principle they have in common:
Being shot by a criminal is not controversial. Shooting one is.
What is supposed to happen in all of these kinds of cases is the criminal maims or kills the target(s) and then we wring our hands and wonder out loud as to what society did to make these disadvantaged youths do something so desperate.
Then the solution is more social programs to provide “safe alternatives” to stomping somebody’s freaking head in.

Well, as they say, “Better to be judged by 12 than be carried by 6.”
I would also add, “Better to be thrown out of Panera Bread after shooting an attacker than die in the same Panera Bread.”
Also, “What I have on me—hidden from view—is NOT Panera Bread’s business or concern. I have a RIGHT to defend myself.”
This applies to all other enterprises that prevent me from protecting myself by some policy. If a law is passed, I will obey, but not some company policy designed to be socially trendy or politically correct. As we say here in Alabama, “Audemus jura nostra defendere!”

It’s never a hate crime if the Designated Victim group attacks those born as Designated Oppressors.
Likely they will treated with lenience because they were engaging in ‘justifiable outrage’ at being disrespected — which is a capital offense. /Left
Sat on a jury for a college man and found em guilty for killing the other college man for exactly this reason. It was a fight at first but when the 2nd went down to the ground - two of them kicked him in the head and killed him.

Recall all the times you viewed a video of savages as they stomp on a person’s head. . .that act is an act of attempted murder. . .trying to crush the guys skull IS trying to kill that person.
Time to make those savages into crispy-fried ex-savages. .
Blacks will use their phones to ‘take pictures’ of an incident-—but they won’t use the same phone to call 911.
Someone convince me again that we shouldn’t live in fear of these feral animals.
I certainly do not advocate racial prejudice, but even black police officers know who is over-represented when it comes to committing violent crimes and they have to know who tends to riot and who does not.
Statistics don’t lie. We would be foolish therefore to not be wary — and prepared.
