ROCHESTER, Mich. (WJBK) - Lieutenant colonel Sherwood Baker was just a father trying to help his daughter find her way at her new high school.
Sherwood who has served in the Army for 24 years was told by Rochester Adams high school security that if he wanted to get into the high school with his daughter he was going to have to go home and change his clothes.
Baker's wife Rachel Ferhadson says, "before he was allowed in, the security guard stopped him and said sorry you're not allowed in the school. Security told him men and women in uniform weren't allowed because it may offend another student."

Sometimes it seems the only logical solution to America’s problems is the partitioning of the country. There are some ideas that should not be required to share space and time.
There are times the gulf is so wide that polite discourse will solve nothing.
It has to cross our soldiers’ mind from time to time, why the hell am I risking my life to protect those moral degenerates?
Anyone have contact telephone numbers for these vermin so We The People can respond?
My personal opinion is the neat solid color dark green pants and lighter green shirts of the local recruiters looked very professional but battle wear IS disturbing to see worn ,by true military or wannabees or posers,in ordinary civilian venues.
And police should wear distinctive “office dress” uniforms,NOT faux BDUs with ghosted insignia.
I also fondly remember when truck drivers wore ,if not matched work clothes, at least blue jeans and shirts, NOT flip-flops,loose shorts, and t-shirts with asinine slogans.
The standards of attire have changed and not for the better.Clothes may not make the man but they can sure say a lot about him.
The school superintendent, who is a veteran himself, took care of it.
I do not blame the 60’s for the start of Obama’s communism. His wife’s father and mother were commies. The first liberal clown I ever met was a 1965 English Prof. He assigned a term paper on Vietnam ( Pro or Con for US involvement) He failed the pro’s. In 1966 I first heard of marijuana. one of my old high school pals was smoking dope at Old Dominion College. His younger brother was killed in Vietnam with the 101st on T Day 65.
*shrugs*
Not that I’ve heard tell so far.
He’s probably trained in the use of guns. We can’t have that!
I also don't know what time it was or if the school office was even open yet, but that's what I would have at least attempted if that were happening to me.
Cordially,
I am 3 years younger than the moron in the White Hut. I was in Kindergarten for the first "Earth Day", this stuff has been going on a long time! A certain part of me knows that clown does not know any better, ti's what he was taught. If the guy was not such a arrogant jerk, I might feel sorry for him. Hid parents abandoned him.
There is a ling upstream where FOX interviewed his wife who was in the car, they did get on the phone and was allowed in.
from the article:
“...Shaner sent a letter to Fox 2 which says: “The district has apologized for any perception that individuals in uniform are not welcome in the school. The district does not have a policy excluding individuals in uniform and will be working with administration and the firm that handles our security to make sure district policies are understood and communicated accurately”.....”
Well, well, well. It seems someone lied to Lieutenant Colonel Sherwood Baker.
You are 100% spot on target as Obama is the major source of Govt. having unprecedented powers.
With the approval of the enemy islamist in Chief. If he claims otherwise it’s taqiyya.
Cordially,
Personally I think he was ordered to do it by someone further up the chain than him, but there is also a chance he could have been former military and just hated officers, which I’ve seen before too.
If he was told to do it then which branch it took coming down down, the school or the company, is the question I would like to see answered.
Was the security guard wearing a uniform?
This doesn’t surprise me. I used to go with recruiters to various events and do a static arms display. 9 times out of 10 I’d end up sitting on the vehicle we came in with the weapons as some school administrator didn’t want weapons on the school grounds. He said information about anything except infantry was welcome. The idiot failed to realize that everything existed to support the infantry and that all the avionics displays were about killing (Fighter jets are not the Red Cross Canteen). THey even allowed helicopters, including a cobra to land on the football field. Ridiculous.
That changed some years ago. We could wear the BDU as the standard uniform for daily work and going to and from home. After 9/11, we were told to take off our shirts on the commute.
I hope everyone that contributed to that decision in any way, no longer works there in two weeks. And frankly, I hope they are bared from working around children in perpetuity. This poor judgement is not conducive to being an authority figure for kids.
