If working for a family firm in a position crafted especially for her caused her to be "stressed", how will she feel after a couple of years working with a Republican dominated legislature? Will she need another snowboarding sabbatical?

She didn't even last very long working for a Democrat Governor.

Big deal, rich kid didn’t work full time. At least she knew how to relax. Try being with someone who works as much as possible as a way to escape, 80 hours a week plus, New Year’s Eve, Thanksgiving morning and is miserable on holidays to boot.

GENERALIZATION>>>>>>
Women travel alone to far away places to have affairs and to boink away on foreign landscapes far away from disapproving friends and family

What happens in Argentina stays in Argentina (maybe)

Our current two term president has never held a full time job.

Sounds like she’d fit right in.

“Burke is currently slightly outpacing Republican Gov. Scott Walker in the polls, according to a Real Clear Politics average of recent polls.”

Huh? You gotta be kidding!

Why, she’s as ‘cool’ as John Ketchup Kerry!

No wonder the left loves her! *SPIT*

Mary Burke twice debated whether having a job was the thing for her.

It behooves us as Wisconsinites, to ensure she doesn't have to stress about a full-time job.

Walker!!!

She is by no means the only one who aspires to this. A significant portion of the Bay Area techie community exists this way.

Take a three or four month contract gig at a staggering hourly rate, then spend the rest of your year snowboarding in the Andes or hanging out on a beach in Goa.

I have even seen resumes were gaps in the timeline were explained with the job title “Slacker”.

I am an avid mtn biker.

I and my friends consume a lot of mtn bikes and bike paraphernalia, like gloves, clothing, etc.

I will be advising all of them to avoid Trek products from here forward. I had no idea they hated America.

Sure, it is not the owner but rather the owner's daughter who is the leftist wastrel, but the apple don't fall far from the tree.

Dad failed in his parenting.

“Democratic candidate for Wisconsin governor Mary Burke took a two-year break from her career for a “snowboarding sabbatical” and a decade later expressed doubts that she ever wanted to have a full-time job again.”

Why she’s just like our “governor,” Jerry the Fairy Brown! He has NEVER held a real job. He has “governed” all of his life. We had to elect Ronald Reagan to “fix” what his father did, then turned around and elected the “prodigal son” who proceeded to undo all the “fixes.”
