It is fair to note that in Islam (and the Law of Moses) adulterous men are also be be executed. Sentence is carried out a lot less frequently, I bet.

The woman "taken in adultery" and dragged before Jesus was presumably not committing adultery by herself, yet they didn't bring the guy along.

His wording to the woman was "Go, and sin no more." We don't have to choose between Islamism and liberalism, and we certainly shouldn't tolerate evildoers who deliberately and unequivocally encourage us to commit adultery by lusting after them.

(Of course, there's also the possibility that the adulteress story was fabricated by translators, given how it is inconsistent with the rest of the Bible.)
