Rev. Franklin Graham, head of the international Christian aid group Samaritans Purse and son of world-renowned preacher Billy Graham, said that given all the bad news about the killing of Christians by Muslims in some countries, and attacks on Christians by the media and the government even in America, he cannot help but wonder if we are in the last hours before our Lord Jesus Christ returns.

We’ll probably have work to do, but it will be Lord’s work, and therefore not onerous by any means.

As I Read the News, I Cant Help But Wonder if We're in Last Hours Tell the good reverend to suck it up.
The world has been in much worse shape countless times.
And it will get better again in just over 2 years.

Sigh.
It took 25 posts for me to see some grounding.
WE each have our last days. If it happens when we’re together or not won’t make nay difference to our judgment.
This only encourages lack of planning, hope, and work.
Perhaps a big reason why Jesus said ‘Not even I know the day and the hour”
Just duh, respect due to Rev G

I moved from Seattle, my home of 45 years, to a small farm in central KY in 2011. I bought it two weeks before the 2008 election.
I did it in the vein of Revelation 18:4. Of all the decisions I’ve made in my life, that is one of the ones you can count on one hand that was absolutely the right thing to do. And time has only strengthened that belief.
To me, it is beyond obvious. I feel like the Bruce Willis character in 12 Monkeys visiting the past.

We are definitely in the Last Days. Though I expect ISIS to turn towards Israel crazy islamic terrorists always do. And then, a peace deal ... confirmed for 7 years. I think you are right.
I think Damascus will be destroyed (Isaiah 17) by Israel using the "Sampson Option." Israel will only retaliate after WMDs are used against their homeland. Then, true hell will be unleashed. Isaiah 17 may or may not be part of the Psalm 83 war. The world will be so shocked at the exchange of WMD in the Middle East that they will demand a "world leader" sue of "peace."

My expectation, believing in 3.5 years of tribulation and 3.5 years of “wrath of God” and being a “post tribulationist”, believe the saved will endure the former and miss the latter.

I think its mainly in home group churches and those little charismatic and other Bible believing churches meeting in garages, little strip centers, renting out schools or theaters on Sundays and so on. Agreed.

Maranatha! Come quickly Lord Jesus!
There are a few prophesies that I think might possibly be prior to the Rapture (but not necessarily):
1. Psalms 83 - Nations around Israel attack (and ISIS?)
2. Ezekiel 38 - Nations on Periphery of Israel Attack
3. Shinar (Babylon or Bagdad) to become a world center
Can anyone think of any other unfulfilled prophecies?

Although I agree technically, I see it like saying, as you see a 500 mile diameter meteor bearing down on the planet, “We’ve suffered much worse damage countless times than we are suffering from this one”.
To that I say, “It hasn’t hit yet. Let’s discuss after it does.”

I’ve been listening to Ezekiel on my commute (2.5 hour total). Just hit 30-40 this morning. Very interesting stuff regarding current events.
And the bible sez “this generation shall not pass away until all these things take place.” A generation is approximately 70 years according to the bible. The firs of “these things” is Israel becoming a nation in 1948. The rest rests on the word “approximately”.

Then you haven't read the Book of Hosea 5:15 - 6:2.
Jesus came, then returned to his place. He said after 2 days he would revive the Nation of Israel and then return.
