If we continue on our present course of passive ignorance, it is just a matter of time for our "surprise".
Are you on a path of “passive ignorance”? If you are, then why are you, or did you mean the government?
The Government has supplies and medical staff ready and available to offer help to the peoples of Africa during this crisis.
The Government has the resources
but not the Resolve to offer assistance.
Because of their 'passive ignorance' and lack of leadership
they have taken no action ... and more people are dying .
The government inaction in this humanitarian crisis minimizes the value of human life,
even if this crisis is not on this continent.
And yes , it will come here on this continent if nothing is done .. it is just a matter of time .
He’s already on the the thread and you’ve already pinged him, why do I need to ping him? Is he ignoring your pings?
Or are you awkwardly trying to play “let’s you and him fight”?
Yes, I have noticed how the news doesn’t report the facts, just the speculation.
Shipping another infected doctor to Nebraska.
What could go wrong?
It is the hub of our nuclear forces. Also there is a lot of money in Omaha (not just Buffet) and many of the elite have houses in the area.
“What will panic me is when the first patient arrives in an emergency room with fever, vomiting and diarrhea.”
They won’t run tests. They’ll give him a bag of saline, tell him he has the flu, and send him right back home with his family.
Besides, the more hospitals dealing with it the more likely one will have an oopsie and then everyone will get their chance at catching it.
(((
Bingo! Great excuse for declaring martial law.
I remember back in the 1960's scientists saying there was nothing to fear because the African-Americans(colored people at the time) would inbreed with the docile Caucasian Americans and no longer be aggressive.
It didn't work.
I see that ansel, the unrepentant slanderer is back.
Who are you slandering today?
Another weak soul who can’t explain whatever it is he is wants to defend on FR, so he goes personal.
Why not try to focus on a post, and respond to it?
Not pinging the guy who made the post, but pinging me who merely agreed with him, shows yet again that you have an unexplainable obsession with me as a man.
Are you gay? Your creepy obsession and for no reason, nothing that you can even explain but which has now gone on for many weeks, is as creepy as it gets.
"Defense Department personnel are on the ground in West Africa and in U.S. laboratories fighting to control the worst outbreak in the African history of the Ebola virus, which a senior Army infectious disease doctor called a scourge of mankind.
Army Colonel James Cummings, a doctor and director of the Global Emerging Infections Surveillance and Response System in the Armed Forces Health Surveillance Center, said the battle against the virus since the outbreak began in West Africa in March focuses on trying to stop disease transmission.
We had a large footprint in Africa, Cummings said of the Defense Departments response to the first Ebola cases reported in 1976 in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, formerly Zaire. Since that time, the Defense Department has answered numerous calls for assistance from the World Health Organization (WHO), nongovernmental organizations and ministries of heath and defense, he said."
The African bees started playing rap music and that caused the American bees to lose interest...
You’re a man???
LOL, not the brightest guy around are you.
Hey! Finally a prediction that came true!
