Not just obama. I bet Liberals everywhere are quietly getting together group-groping in time to this idea, imaging how it can be used to combat the Evils of Consumerism.

The government will tap into frequent shopper accounts and credit/debit card records to detect “exploiters” in the event of shortages in this country.

And be completely screwed when they realize that people have been gaming the frequent shopper cards, and use cash for their real purchases.
Tracers work both ways.

My son is the internet marketing manager for a grocery chain.
When you signup for the store cards you can get individualized discounts for products you prefer. Good news.
However they are tracking the date, items purchased, cash back, and everything about your purchases.
If the NSA can hack in they can access the info.

Shoppers have for more than a year struggled to find basic goods including cooking oil, powdered milk and corn flour as well as detergent, shampoo and diapers. These are exactly what preppers here in the US need to stock up on. Cooking oil has a short shelf life, so I would recommend coconut oil which has a longer shelf life and is healthier for you.
