ISIS is targeting Pope Francis, calling him the bearer of false truth. According to an Italian source, ISIS is not only setting their sites on the Vatican, but more specifically, on Pope Francis himself.
Italian authorities have already issued an alert giving warnings on places that our potential targets to terrorist, and one on the list, being very significant, was places of worship, which would include the Vatican.
It has been reported that at least 50 people from Italy are now fighting for ISIS, 80% of whom are native Italians who converted to Islam. One of the reasons for their conversion, according to one Italian newspaper, was distrust in the Catholic Church, indicating the connection between Islam and anti-Catholicism.
Most interestingly, the goal to force the Vatican to become Muslim was recently stated by an ISIS agent in Italy named Imam Ismar Mesinovic, a Bosnian Muslim who stationed himself in the country to recruit Italian converts to fight for ISIS. He said:
We Muslims believe that one day the whole world will be an Islamic state. Our goal is to make sure that even the Vatican will be Muslim. Maybe I will not be able to see it, but that time will come.

You got that right.
“false truth?”
It’s an oxymoron, like “his husband.”
The Vatican is its own entity. Why does the Ital govey need to horn in.
Not widely reported but while in Korea he said he would only be Pope for another two or three years and would either be dead or would retire. I think he’s been told he has a fatal disease.
islam is satan's death cult - there is no depth they will not go.
Wow ...isn’t that the prophecy thing too... about the last Pope?
If ISIS is the JV team then our foreign policy apparatus is the freshman squad. There is such a void of American leadership in the world arena right now that our allies are forced to step up. You don’t think the folks in Bonn, London, Paris, and Rome are more than a little pissed at us right now?
Not to take away from Barrys uselessness, but what the hell are other countries doing about these ISIS mutts? What is France doing besides surrendering? Germany? Italy? China, Spain? England? Barry says he has no strategy but neither it seems does any other country even though these psychopaths a hair away from controlling a good part of the worlds oil supply. Is France bombing them? England? Canada? Australia?
“I dont think the Swiss Guard can pull off a crusade and Brazil and Mexico probably would not want to go to war in the Middle East.”
If they tooled up to make the machines of war, as we did in 1942, it could be the making of them. They might finally become serious countries.
That is a very confusing post.
PING
Disagree
If they assassinate the pope you will see how morally bankrupt Europe and the us have become
The Muzzies allegedly directly worship their god, with no intermediaries. However, in practice they put up prophets (Muhammed) and clergy as somehow closer to their god...and project their worship of mortals onto others.
The murder of the Pope would be terrible. But it would be the terrible murder of only one man. The Catholic church believes it is based on universal truths, which man cannot change. And the death of one man would certainly not seriously harm the church or change these universal truths.
The fact that ISIS believes something is to be gained by such an assassination illustrates just how empty their religion is.
Benedict didn’t mince words about the muzzies either, unlike Francis who wants to break bread with them.
The middle east is stuck in a never ending cycle of ‘the enemy of my enemy is my friend’. And once a new friend becomes too powerful, he makes the enemy list. Ah....Islam
“That is a very confusing post.”
Where did I lose you?
Take these subhuman savages seriously. They are still mad about the Crusades.
Read your post, who is who in it, what are you talking about?
Yes I thought we should have done that on 9/12/11.
I’m sure that if the Islamists invade Rome, our allies will bomb them. It’s not like they haven’t done it before.
