Imminent Terrorist Attack Warning By Feds on U.S. Border
Judicial Watch ^ | Friday, August 29, 2014

Posted on 08/29/2014 11:09:07 AM PDT by kristinn

Islamic terrorist groups are operating in the Mexican border city of Ciudad Juarez and planning to attack the United States with car bombs or other vehicle born improvised explosive devices (VBIED). High-level federal law enforcement, intelligence and other sources have confirmed to Judicial Watch that a warning bulletin for an imminent terrorist attack on the border has been issued. Agents across a number of Homeland Security, Justice and Defense agencies have all been placed on alert and instructed to aggressively work all possible leads and sources concerning this imminent terrorist threat.

Specifically, Judicial Watch sources reveal that the militant group Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS) is confirmed to now be operating in Juarez, a famously crime-infested narcotics hotbed situated across from El Paso, Texas. Violent crimes are so rampant in Juarez that the U.S. State Department has issued a number of travel warnings for anyone planning to go there. The last one was issued just a few days ago.

Intelligence officials have picked up radio talk and chatter indicating that the terrorist groups are going to “carry out an attack on the border,” according to one JW source. “It’s coming very soon,” according to this high-level source, who clearly identified the groups planning the plots as “ISIS and Al Qaeda.” An attack is so imminent that the commanding general at Ft. Bliss, the U.S. Army post in El Paso, is being briefed, another source confirms. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) did not respond to multiple inquiries from Judicial Watch, both telephonic and in writing, about this information.

The disturbing inside intelligence comes on the heels of news reports revealing that U.S. intelligence has picked up increased chatter among Islamist terror networks approaching the 13th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. While these terrorists reportedly plan their attack just outside the U.S., President Obama admits that “we don’t have a strategy yet” to combat ISIS. “I don’t want to put the cart before the horse,” the commander-in-chief said this week during a White House press briefing. “I think what I’ve seen in some of the news reports suggest that folks are getting a little further ahead of what we’re at than what we currently are.”

The administration has also covered up, or at the very least downplayed, a serious epidemic of crime along the Mexican border even as heavily armed drug cartels have taken over portions of the region. Judicial Watch has reported that the U.S. Border Patrol actually ordered officers to avoid the most crime-infested stretches because they’re “too dangerous” and patrolling them could result in an “international incident” of cross border shooting. In the meantime, who could forget the famous words of Obama’s first Homeland Security Secretary, Janet Napolitano; the southern border is “as secure as it has ever been.”

These new revelations are bound to impact the current debate about the border crisis and immigration policy.

Thanks for the ping. Our Golfer-in-Chief will probably learn of this on the news at some point. As he said in yesterday’s press conference, “We have no strategy.”

Thanks for the ping.

Good grief....now this. I wonder if this has anything to do with the warning Col McInerney recently talked about....

We have to say it like it is. The golfer in chief bears full responsibility for this. It’s not incompetence. It’s deliberate actions designed to make the borders fully open and welcoming to all who want to waltz in.
It’s conscious, intentional and deliberate.
If a bearded subhuman walks into the country and does what bearded savages usually do, there is only ONE man who has full responsibility for this.

That's not exactly Authentic Frontier Gibberish but even Yogi Berra would have trouble translating it.

I think it’s time to start playing Cowboys and Muslims.

If this country is attacked, something should be done to hold Obama accountable. He’s accountable for nothing. That must change.

Must be coming up on the deadline to extend the Patriot Act for another year or two. Threat level elevated to hysterical.

9-11’s only a couple of weeks away; what a coincidence.

They'll probably wait a couple weeks after 9/11 before striking when our defenses are down.

There are apparently thousands of “attacks” on our borders every day by illegal alien invaders...yet no one does anything about it. Makes you wonder, no?

Sure seems like those muzzie troglodytes-from-hell are big on symbolism, so I’d expect an attack around the 9-11 date. They repeated at Benghazi. But who knows WTH those blood-drenched ghouls will do?

I have been saying for months (years?) that the next attack will come over the southern border. These ISIS guys are plenty smart. Why bother with planes, the TSA, etc., when you can just waltz across the southern border? So much easier. Easier to bring “stuff” with you as well.

If they want to begin their operations in Texas, I’d suggest
that they hadn’t done their proper homework. Bad plan.

But hey.. if they feel froggy they should jump right in.

So consider this scenario: the attacks are timed to kick off right AFTER Obama signs that Amnesty EO. Just imagine the kind of political mess that would create.

Imagine if they wait until Dec. 20. That way hussein can declare martial law on an infidel holiday, shut down the airlines and put millions of companies out of business that were relying on the holiday buying. It'd also be a great time to shut down food and fuel deliveries.

One of the largest oil refinery, if not the largest in the Southwest, is only 1.5 miles north of the Ciudad Juarez, Mexico border. It is a major complex in El Paso with lots of tanks and pipelines taking crude from the east and moving refined product north to ABQ and west to Arizona and So. California. It would be a prime target especially as a major El Paso street passes between large volume storage tanks to either side.

I was working in El Paso a few weeks after 9/11. The product terminal I was at was surrounded by warehouses where trucks from Mexico delivered goods to be trans-loaded to American trucks for movement throughout the US. Because of congestion, the Mexican trucks parked directly alongside tanks of gasoline and diesel. Often the driver(s) would be absent to check for a time to unload at the truck docks. It would be absurdly easy for just one to have explosives and the whole terminal would go up. I was always glad to finish my work and leave the area.
