The intensity of disapproval of the president has been climbing steadily for 5 years to where now, more than twice as many Americans say they "strongly disapprove" of him than "strongly approve."
Gallup:
Americans are more than twice as likely to say they "strongly disapprove" (39%) of President Barack Obama's job performance as they are to say they "strongly approve" (17%). The percentage of Americans who strongly disapprove of Obama has increased over time, while the percentage who strongly approve has dropped by almost half.

Who cares?
It cuts deeply into November election numbers. It’ll really be curious to see how his leadership style works when there’s fifty-one or more Republican senators in DC in January.
strong approval at 17%
hm..
I wonder how much of that 17% is black racists?
I am guessing 80% of the 17% are.
Remember that 1/3 of Americans are dependent on Federal Welfare Checks.
Thus, 33% is the base level of support for Obama.

Chairman Trey Gowdy understands that his drip - Drip - - DRIP investigation style of the entire 2012 Benghazi Massacre is a very effective tool against the sound-bite style of not a smidgen of corruption, Democrat Political Machine of Reid, Pelosi and Obama.
Gowdys strategy may well prove to be the best documentation yet of why Democrats are unsuited to be in leadership positions in the US Federal Government.
After all, the same Democrats who were responsible for their decisions, or lack thereof, with respect to Benghazi also have decision ties to the NSA, IRS, and EPA Democrat policy decisions.
Thus, Chairman Gowdy can potentially document the vast Democrat connections that tie together what has made the Obama Administration the most destructive force so popular with the Democrat Politicians in the US Senate and House of Representatives since January, 2009.
Chairman Gowdy is thus putting himself in position to be the deciding Republican Politician as to the future defeat of Democrats in the 2016 National Election.
While other Republican Politicians and pundits wring their hands in fear of what the Media will say about them, and fretfully hope to win short term battles by narrowly gaining control of the US Senate, Trey Gowdy seems to be more interested in winning the WAR against the entire ruling Democrat Political Machine.
The Republicans may squeak by with a narrow 2014 Election victory, but 2016 could well be the year that the Democrat Party receives its much deserved, landslide defeat.
Oddly enough, the MSM is uninterested.
Exactly. It has as much bearing on his 2 1/2 years remaining as president as a strong approval/disapproval poll of chocolate chip ice cream.
Oh, why don’t they just go over to the Mideast and take a poll?
People are kidding themselves.
They'll have a majority and still surrender.
The ignorant sub-human filth known as the American voter would STILL vote for him again if they could.
Exactly.
Obama is not running for re-election and
the link between disapproval for Obama and the democrats running for office has not gained wide perception.
Who cares.
Yeah, but so what?
He’s still the king.
39%. More than that many voted against him. That means ALL who voted for him and some who voted against him still like him.
And all those who disapprove strongly can't wait to exchange Obama for Hillary. Zzzzzzzz........
his leadership what?
If Obama were a republican president, the MSM would be screaming about Gasoline prices....
As long as the Democrats offer the voters of the Parasite Class free stuff, they’ll show up to vote against the GOP meanies who would take away their “benefits.”
LBJ passed the War on Poverty handouts so that, in his words, “the N****** will vote Democrats for the next 200 years.” He certainly knew his voter base.
Obama is a dip wad, but he is a black man who doesn’t scare white liberals, or speak with a thick tongue. He speaks in a cadence that motivates halfwits, and no matter how much damage he does, he is this media’s Hitler, so the polls mean nothing.
