KANSAS CITY, Mo. — An unusual respiratory virus is striking children in the metro in big numbers. Children’s Mercy Hospital is hospitalizing 20 to 30 kids a day with the virus. The hospital is as full now as it is at the height of flu season.
This is not the same virus we told you about several weeks ago that can cause meningitis. This one can cause severe breathing trouble. Children’s Mercy has seen more than 300 cases in recent days in kids of all ages.

However, America’s rejection of God has resulted in it’s nation falling under “Judgement”. All the warnings were in place for what has befallen America, and other countries whose “pride” overshadows their sensibilities. God would have healed America long ago had it repented of it’s haughtiness, greed, and immorality. Though it seems that these things are more important than being destroyed by the enemy. So...for how long I can remain “sure”....is truly questionable.

Supposedly, those in the camps were to stay for 21 days so it’s not likely this disease came from them. A nearby school district has banned any undocumented centers. While that’s all well and good, there are still 100s of illegals enrolling their kids in school who didn’t come here through the centers. They showed up the usual way. They bring just as many diseases as those who were in the camps.
There were no WMD.

I feel your pain. I have a horrible cold right now and I’m coughing so hard my ribs hurt. Also, I wheeze myself to sleep. I have no idea where I picked this up. Think I’ll go back to being a hermit; it’s safer. ;-)

I don’t think it’s just in Kansas City. Know some people who have had respiratory illness including myself. It’s been rough.

Let’s not go that far, but you are on to the truth of a historical pattern of parents who, having endured hardship, determine a “better” life for their children and thus end up “ruining” them through comfort.
“around the world” == brought in by illegals, probably the batches of unaccompanied kids.
Know lots of people in arzona been sick all summer. Especially near the border. My buddy who is a dr down there says he beleives the last few months have been the worst disease months hehas ever seen. Any airborne or spread by touch that is fairly archaic or was near extinction in the states seems to be roaring back. Just wait till winter with confined movement. It will be a killer.
Saw in this article its happening in California too....open borders bringing in strange viruses now.
There are cough drops/lozenges that will stop bad coughing - in my experience.
Last I had that problem was a long time ago, but learned that the most *expensive* ones in the pharmacy are the ones that work. Put in mouth until coughing stops, and remove - besides being expensive, taste terrible - and save it for later when it starts again. One try lasts hours, for me.

There were several kids and a few adults in our tiny little town in the elementary school who were diagnosed with walking pneumonia last year.
