The recipients of these funds are often terrorist groups, including al-Qa’ida’s Syrian affiliate, al-Nusrah Front, and the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), the group formerly known as al-Qa’ida in Iraq (AQI).

ISIS has everything to do with Islam. Not because of ISIS per se, but because so-called “moderate” Muslims aren’t stopping them. Their complete silence on the radicals in their religion is more condemnable than the radicals themselves. Silence is assent.
Even though many of the moderate Muslims might like to speak out in condemnation of ISIL, they don’t dare do so for fear of losing their heads.

Until our politicians and media are willing to talk about the reality of Islam the way Mr. Spencer does, we are fighting a losing war. All the blood and treasure we spend is simply wasted, because we refuse to acknowledge the reality, let alone devise an effective solution. But 99% of them never will.
