British Special Forces hunting the killer of James Foley are using an array of sophisticated equipment to track him down – and possibly free other hostages being held.
The Mail on Sunday has been given a detailed account of how elite troops from the SAS and the Special Reconnaissance Regiment (SRR) are conducting high-tech operations inside Syria and Iraq, which could lead to the capture of the extremists within days.
It emerged as reports suggested that British intelligence services had identified the true identity of the terrorist who beheaded Mr Foley – as seen in a video which shocked the world - known as 'Jihadi John'.

What I didn’t like in this particular Mail article was the phrase, “which could lead to the capture of the extremists within days”. The ‘within days’ seems too much of a hint that, hey, they’re closing in on you right now!, for my tastes.
Dire measures have to be taken against these useless slugs. For one thing, issue a warning that for every innocent hostage they kill, we should kill ten terrorists in custody. And no mercy shown towards these oxygen thieves. Total extermination.
From the comments I’ve read on the board underneath the article, it sounds like many Brits are fed up with their milquetoast liberal gov. which lets the scum in and treats them like wayward children when they commit crimes.
If you meekly give yourself up, you may end up at Gitmo — better food than you have now, soccer, clean underwear and new korans.
If the SAS goes after him there is no “meekly give up” - they’ll take him out. And he will know he’s been taken out.
Tell him he’s up for a life time achievement award at the VMA’s
How about a couple titan 2 missiles and not risk a single Western life.
Remember when people knew how to keep their mouths shut? We need to bring back the “lose lips sink ships” concept. There is no good reason at all for this story to be in the newspaper.
