A woman who says she witnessed the shooting of unarmed black teenager Michael Brown has released video to CNN that shows Brown lying in the street as officers stand by.
The shooting has spawned a week of protests in which demonstrators have demanded an explanation for Brown's killing. Police in Ferguson, Mo., say officer Darren Wilson opened fire because Brown tried to take his gun during an altercation.
Piaget Crenshaw said she has waited until now to release the video because she feared for her safety and was waiting for police to release Wilson's name, which they did Friday. She also said police could have released her video Friday when they also released surveillance footage that they said showed Brown stealing cigarillos from a convenience store before the shooting. She said police had her video because they confiscated her phone.

A woman who says she witnessed the shooting...
This is the first line in the linked article.
Then, later in the article, this:
Crenshaw said it took her about 30 seconds to run and get her phone, which she used to film Wilson standing over Brown’s body.
So, she did NOT witness the shooting...
Would that not depend on entry and or entry/exit wound to the hand?
The guy that accompanied Brown was an accessory to the strong armed robbery.
That same guy was knowingly recieving stolen property
That same guy was a witness/ participant in the assault on the police officer trying to get out of his vehicle.
That same guy was a witness to the homocide and gave a statement setting this media mis-information spin in motion, alledging that Brown was shot in the back.
This same guy's statement is in question as the autopsy didn't suport his statement to police or the Feds about Brown 'raised hands'.
Unknown whether this same guy can be charged with accessory to murder under Mis. penal law .
How is this same guy not in jail ?
I thought you agreed this is not legal testimony. These two would be torn apart in a court of law yet you determine these two are telling the truth. Why did you determine this is bad for the Police Officer?
Deal made. He talked on TV, he talked to the Feds last Monday about the theft.
Had it gone down as is being clamed the MSM would have been flooded with the 'proof.'
As much as I despise Lefty Beckel on The Five, he brought up the same question.
Not sure this changes anything.
SO it would seem that her video was after the fact.
The key question is whether she saw the shooting , and then went to get the camera.
The next question is : How credible is she ?

Ferguson Shooting Shock: Witness Unwittingly Captured on Audio Corroborates Police Story
If it were to happen here then he would be a Principle in the first degree.
Facing robbery. battery on the store owner, on the cop and it seems now he should be charged with impeding an investigation , and if he lies on the stand pergury
From the time the cop arrived on scene, the entire event was probably about 20 seconds or so...very quick, probably too quick for anyone to grab their phone and start taking video, as they had no idea a shooting would occur within seconds. It was over quickly...
Even a black racist would give up any video of the incident regardless of who was at fault, for the right money.
Mariner is obviously attempting to create evidence against the police.
Agreed.
“So she filled in the 30 seconds she was gone with NOT eye-witness info.”
She filled in the 30 seconds with Bull sh**
there, fixed it
The last I knew strong armed robbery ,recieving stolen goods, assault on police officer was violation of State penal law , and NOT a Federal crime .
Hell no I have not "determined" they are telling the truth!
It could be bad even if they are not. Especially if there are no witnesses to corroborate the cops story and if the physical evidence is not conclusive.
Do you carry that chip on your shoulder everywhere?
I have not seen any information coming to those conclusions.
Nadda.
A person could had the arm (s), up while saying, shoot me because I am going to kill you, f-pig. Two can play that game. We are not talking about a sweet little kid. He was a street thug / a complete different mindset towards authority. His last facebook rant was very revealing where his attitudes were that day.
Some people do not like the fact that he was shot so many times. It’s difficult to get their minds around any officer’s possible fears of survival. So, he’s guilty before the facts come out.
It has to be a hard job being a police officer, in today’s political environment and to where all of the powers have been turned over to the political movement versus allowing the locals to hire and fire and having requirements not quotas. And, now Holder is in the middle like he did in Florida. The liberals always ruin anything that is good for our system. Holder’s being sent there for a desired outcome. Excessive force to a black teen. Got to have those blacks at the voting centers in November.
Even if there’s evidence, this turns, none of them have justified reasons to burn to loot to destroy private property and not be arrested and seek a conviction.
You are right, but the Chief said he wouldn’t be facing charges. IIRC Law/Order taking a backseat now.
LOL ... do you normally believe witness accounts outside of a court of law? Just wondering ...
