Out of an abundance of caution, the New Mexico Department of Health is working with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to perform tests to rule out Ebola in a 30-year-old woman who developed sore throat, headache, muscle aches and fever. The logic escapes me. Yes I know there are lots of tropical diseases that have similar symptoms.
Does the CDC know those other diseases breaking out at this moment from that area (Africa I mean)?
If you have [A B C D E] 5 suspects, A showed up multiple times and the others not so much, isn’t it simpler to test for A right away, instead of trying to eliminate B C D E as suspects?

That was my thought. Let's just think of something else to call it and hope Ebola isn't as deadly in the US.
The world has gone insane.
Thanks for the ping!
