Violence continues in Ferguson, Missouri. It began on August 9 with the death of Michael Brown, an unarmed African-American teenager cut down by a white cop’s bullets. Peaceful demonstrations turned into looting, the local police went in with rubber bullets and tear gas, all hell broke loose and, eventually, Missouri’s governor pulled out the local police and sent in state officers instead. But the rioting only paused; it didn’t cease. And it may continue. That’s probably because it’s driven by a deep, deep anger that will take a long time to calm.
Observers might ask, “How can this be happening in an America that has elected a black president?” How can black kids still get killed by white cops and how can towns still burn in race riots?
Part of the explanation is that the recession has been especially tough on African-Americans – reinforcing historical disparities of wealth between the races. Before the credit crunch, the median net worth of a black household was $12,124, compared with $134,992 in white households. After the crunch, the black net worth fell to just $5,677, compared with $113,149 among whites. Black home equity fell by an average of 28 per cent and retirement savings by 35 per cent. In May 2014, the black unemployment rate stood at 11.5 per cent – more than double the white jobless rate of 5.4 per cent.
To make matters worse, blacks face additional challenges at home and in the streets. There is a crisis in black fatherhood: while just 29 per cent of whites are born out of wedlock, the figure is 72 per cent for blacks. One result is a racial imbalance in welfare dependency: African-Americans make up about 13 per cent of the population yet 39.8 per cent of those on welfare rolls....

Black militancy and savagery has grown exponentially since Obama’s election. It’s exactly what should be expected from a community organizer whose stock in trade is creating anger and discontent where none existed, or where it will only make matters worse.
There won’t be another black president for 100 years. Latino, Female, Asian, Indian, LGTBT, - Obama soiled his pants with the job and it will be forever before America, especially the new Latin majority, risks it again

I agree. It seems to me the whole concept of entry-level jobs is lost on the last generation, perhaps even the one before.
They were meant for kids to have spending money while they continued on in school. They could help out at home by contributing. They could get a car, have money for social activity.
After they got their education, they could look for higher paying work. Generally in the past they would find it.
Nowadays it seems they want a living wage right out of the eighth grade. No.

One thing not mentioned, which I did in my earlier post, is that these kids don’t think they have to conform at all either. Any demand that they show conformity at the employer’s request is deemed unfair or unrealistic.

I agree..Holder is a big problem in this. As for the rest of your post, although logical, I may wait until all the facts are in. Of course, with Holder involved, the facts could very well change and be manufactured to fit Holder’s narrative.
I have been seeing some of this rally in Mo. Perhaps, because I am not black, I don’t understand a lot of the rhetoric. To me it seems pretty inflammatory. It’s pretty clear in my simple little mind. NOBODY has said that this would not be investigated or prosecuted.So not only is the rioting premature...it sure doesn’t present a positive picture. This ain’t the 60s, folks.
So I’ll put my soap box away for now. I guess I just needed to vent. Think I’ll go get ready for work tomorrow and turn off the tv.
All of this can only get worse because the liberal analysis is devoid of reality.
In 2014 America, cops are not looking to gun down or oppress blacks. Everyone walks on eggshells about racial issues.
Blacks are being taught their whole lives they are victims and America is racist and evil.
Those are realities. And when someone gets shot there isn’t a good reason for black people to be rioting, etc.
But the liberal analysis is some made up bullcrap about a white power structure and Trayvon Martin, as if that had anything to do with the police in Missouri.
So things will only get worse.

Hatred sustains two possible responses: avoidance or destruction of the hated object. So this negative view of the black ethnicity culminates in strategies that envisage violent conflict and, eventually, physical separation from “white dominated” American society. Of course, from a black viewpoint, both these outcomes are self-destructive delusions. If we define the enemy as nonblack American society, it is clearly an enemy blacks aren’t strong enough to defeat by violence. So the impulse stirred by the rhetoric of hate feeds black-on-black violence instead. Physical separation, even if it were possible, would most likely mean confinement to a racial ghetto with all the disadvantages of today’s predominately black urban centers, but no avenue of distraction or hope of eventual escape.
For all their seeming militancy, therefore, those who base their actions on the negative view of black ethnicity aren’t true militants at all. The most militant approach is the one that works, not one that leads to self-defeat and self-destruction. But the negative view of black ethnicity is not the only alternative.
In the course of this work, we have come to see the black moral identity as a positive reality, based on values that sustain both individual achievement and community cooperation. The idea of black autonomy need not, therefore, entail violence, or an effort to separate ourselves from “the enemy.” It can mean, instead, an effort to develop communities that reflect and preserve the moral character that emerged from black-American experience. In pursuing this goal, black Americans can act out of respect for ourselves, not hatred of others.

A black president couldn’t stop the Ferguson race riots
He doesn’t want to. This is a distraction from illegals crossing into the USA. It’s a distraction from his incompetence in Iraq and Syria. It’s a distraction from the IRS scandal and all the other thug’s scandals.
This British anther doesn’t seems to have ever lived among blacks or heard what they teach their young.
What we have here is the result of Generations of cultural indoctrination towards entitlement and irresponsibility.
Blacks make up a large bulk of the prison population for one simple reason they commit the most crimes. This is a direct result of the entitlement and victim ideology that dominates their culture, and has destroyed their family.
In many ways the black community represents the Social politics of the Democratic party put into practice in its most pure form. Theses same politics have quite logically lead to a culture that is predisposed towards this evil, a culture that is constantly destroying itself.
Looting and burning is what their really after i think sadly enough.

That is a good observation and explication. Notice how Obama doesn’t wait for a legal investigation and expiation he just jumps to a conclusion that could only fan unwarranted flaims.
As president Obama can’t even claim he doesn’t trust the investigative system. He could easily order a special investigation, even a lawless one, as being lawful seems to have little appeal to the present man in the oval office.
But no he chooses to incite unwarranted anger that can only lead to bloodshed and violence. This is an example of where Obama seems bent upon leading only for ciaos and injustice.
