Seems to me a lot rests on what judge this comes before. You get some bleeding heart Liberal and all bets are off.
The gray area for me is how close Perry or some of his pals come to some of these investigations. Even if he’s right, if some of his friends (and knowing the Republicans as he obviously does) are involved, that makes it look like he is interceding to clear them of wrong-doing.
This is a case where even if you’re right, you can look wrong.
That’s what is so devious about this Democrat tactic.
He vetoed the funding because the crazy witch running the "ethics" committee got arrested for DWI and went insane with "do you know who I am?" criminality refused to resign. She is a unrepentant criminal. She has no business heading any "ethics" investigation. She has no ethics.
All she has to do is resign and he will reinstate the funding.
“Complaining about a problem without proposing a solution is called whining...”
Local news reported that the Public Integrity Unit was investigating Perry.
They also reported that the legislature had already approved the funding for the PIU.
The talking head opined that where Perry made a mistake was by threatening to veto first. That can be taken as coercion.
