Hillary is counterbalancing. She is actually hawkish, compared to progressives, and according to recent Maris Polling gets 20% of the Republican vote. My take is the 20 percenters, McCain type Republicans, think she hung the moon on hawk.
So, of course, she loses progressive Democrats who want the US to roll over and actually BE dead. It’s a wash and she moves on.
Besides, progressives are going to vote for her anyway and those 1 in 5 Republicans will too unless Jeb runs for open borders. Then they might vote for Bush over Clinton. (Except for McCain.)

A recent excuse for not speaking up/opposing Obama is that the rats would never have forgiven her for tarnishing their hero and this would have cost her support for her 2016 run. So, as always, her power mongering and career comes before doing the right thing - even if it costs lives.
