A clear majority of voters say they approve of the United States' recently launched airstrikes in Iraq, a Fox News poll released Wednesday shows. But the survey shows President Obama gets low marks overall for his handling of Iraq.
Fully 65 percent of Americans say they approve of the airstrikes. Just 23 percent disapprove.
The poll of registered voters was conducted from Sunday to Tuesday. U.S. warplanes struck Sunni extremist militants last Friday. Obama said the airstrikes were conducted to "prevent terrorist forces from advancing on the city of Irbil."

I find a way drop a small nuke after we rescue the Christians.
There isn’t going to be a rescue of the ones on the mountain, as the State of Obama Department has issued an all clear and stabilized situation, that the 1000 or so survivors still on the mountain are safe. HOWEVER, the UN has issued a Three level alert so who is lying?
I’m encouraged that the survey indicates that US citizens, who are sick of recrational war mongering to benefit the global elite, seem to understand the issue. They’re saying that the proper use of US air power is to stop genocide and disintegrate the maniacs.
RE: Theyre saying that the proper use of US air power is to stop genocide and disintegrate the maniacs.
This is just long term thinking. The moment these evil thugs capture Iraq and their oil fields, it becomes a haven and training ground for terrorists worldwide ( Many living in the West ).
And guess who they will use their resources to attack — THE GREAT SATAN ( guess who that is... ).
Then what?
It will be interesting to see the support for these operations continue for months. And why is no one asking why our people in Irbil have not been evacuated out of the country? In the meantime our military presence in Iraq has grown to over 700 advisors not counting the force protection for our diplomatic missions.
Hopefully, a sanity check on US foreign policy. The ME and its minorities were far better off with the thuggish dictators the US armed rebels to topple.
I don’t have much faith in the Arab world that what replaces it is going to be much better.
