On Tuesday #Anonymous released the private information of St. Louis County Police Chief Jon Belmar and his wife and children.
The group posted a link to the information in a tweet.

“Police officers are not anonymous and targeting their families is not acceptable.
I think your attitude really crosses the line of acceptability in a civil society. “
Cop attitudes have long since crossed the line of acceptability. I’m not a fan that it has to reach this far to get their attention. But if it does have to go that far, it is their own fault for believing people will keep tolerating these killings.
This one may or may not be legit. Personally, I don’t believe the cops that much here. But far too many cops are committing murder, and getting away with it because cops and government don’t want accountability. They want power. Nor is the constant string of murders and hurting innocents their only offenses.
They don’t like the attitude you find offensive? Tough. Start taking the public’s growing anger seriously, or pay the price.
Oh ok it was a tease.
“The group posted a link to the information in a tweet.”
“Once the police and military start living apart from the general population, they will feel less worried about atrocities. Same with the other direction.
That is how civil wars start.”
They AREN’T worried about atrocities. That is the problem. Their uncontrolled behavior may well lead to such a civil war, or at least a war on cops. They have only themselves to blame. This conflict between citizens and cops is their own doing, not ours.
Take out the trash among them or else. Stop sheltering the corrupt, power tripping, thugs among LE. Or else live with what happens.
“WAY too many people from Conservative to Libtard do not wait for facts.”
You might want to share that concept with your friendly LE officers.

They don’t bother waiting for facts any more, before trying to KILL us.
Oh ok.
I haven’t been watching that closely, I didn’t know they stopped the investigation. That was fast.
Your inside information proves your point.
I submit that murdering a dog just because you carry a gun and a badge is not the act of a rational person as well BUT if I confront that individual for committing such a heinous act he/she can arrest me for :
wait for it...
wait for it...
wait for it...
Obstructing the law.
(There should be a severe Irony tag for such posts)
Frankly I have to believe #Anonymous exists at the NSA’s pleasure. The NSA is so connected that proxies and zombie machines aren’t going to hide you.
You mean like the Muslims in Turkey providing training/support/arms to ISIS ?
“It is IMPERATIVE that we unite over what we can and toss the other stuff to “someday” or “tomorrow” so the greater threat can be defeated.
It will take all of us.”
Yes, and we do that. Just look at the Romney debacle. It took us to collectively get over our issues and vote for the guy.
I Thank you for humoring me. It was fun leading you around.
Have a nice evening.
Are you really trying to conflate a proxy and an opportunist?
Are gun manufacturers selling their products to foment lawlessness?
You can't have it both ways.
Dial 911 and Die.
If all that's standing between you and the predators is a cop, you're doomed.
Be prepared to defend yourself. Don't depend on the cops.
‘_______Not sure about the names of wife/children/home address.’
Am I missing something here??? When you Google my name, or spouses name, all sorts of info comes up - it’s outrageous.
Address, phone number, names of our children - sometimes our daughters’ maiden AND married names! And THEIR addresses And more.
I almost went nuts the last time I Googled.
And we’re helpless to do anything - right?? Especially after the fact - - -
A lot of bootlickers in this thread. Quite coincidentally many of the same ones who claim theyre ready for CW2 and just itching to get at them jack booted thugs. Cute. Keep licking.
Anonymous is certainly not a black ops group. They are usually pro freedom of information, pro punishment for ANYONE in the wrong. I don’t normally see them use much bias, when picking their targets to hack.
Certainly if they were though, they could easily hack Obama’s e-mail, get information about anything they want. They are behind many levels of firewalls, proxy servers, and are very very hard to find. If they were easy to find, they would not be operating. I assure you of that. They have gone out of their way on the simplest things to punish idiots that put up videos of themselves torturing animals. If they were black ops, we would only hear about them when it involved things like this. They are a threat to every government. They are anarchists, and rebels. But I don’t think they want to watch the world burn.
But posting the names and addresses of police AND THEIR FAMILIES? That’s crossing a line I can’t cross. That’s terrorism pure and simple. The families have absolutely nothing to do with this, and to involve them is a level of evil I can only equate to demonic.
What do you think these wives and children are doing? They aren’t sleeping, probably paranoid, packing heat. The only thing they have done is made it PERSONAL. Look for anonymous members being arrested. The one thing you DON’T do is mess with an officers family. You’ll end up dead with a gun planted on you.
The businesses probably don’t lose.
Won’t the insurance cover them, and then some?
If not, then why aren’t the business owners armed to the teeth protecting their inventory? I certainly would be. Take as many as I could if they wanted a fight.
If no one will stand up and lead, no one can follow.
Class was 3 months long, once a week, 1830 - 2200hrs. As many ride-along’s as you wish.
In the North Texas area there are many departments that have a citizen police academy where a few times a year they have an open enrollment and average citizens can sign up. In my class of 24, the average age was around mid-50’s. A couple were young and in college.
Your PDs Community Relations department would have info for your area.
The aim of the academy is to educate the public, show them what goes on, to learn about the law and the department and the community, etc. After each presentation questions could be asked and boy-howdy, did I ask. Went into the class with open eyes and a lot of questions. Challenged them on most everything. Most handled my direct questioning very well, a very few did not like being questioned.
At the end of the class they would ask if anyone was interested in becoming a citizen volunteer. . .you know, work football games, wait by broke down vehicles for the wrecker, be a city-wide ‘neighborhood watch,’ direct traffic if necessary, that sort of stuff.
What’s more, is that thanks to Freedom of the Press, we can have newspaper reports, investigation, and penalty for a cop who goes the wrong way. We can have it. Vigilante activity has a history of being at least as corrupt and dangerous, and more often worse, than corrupt cops. The San Francisco vigilante mobs, for instance, evolved to the point of hanging people for shoplifting.
More likely than not, Anonymous is vigilantes. Vigilantes turn to using their activities for selfish purposes, and also don’t use hardly a form of organized “Due Process”. Familiar with history and vigilante groups, I can’t say that I am all that surprised with the way this is going. These people are a law unto themselves, and such a status is dangerous.
I agree, I do find actions of some politicians and enforcement officers despicable recently, but the whole vigilante justice isn’t governed, doesn’t run on much more than “echo chamber morality”. It’s dangerous, it’s undemocratic, and it’s bad enough that if I had to choose between Anonymous/mobs and the Feds/Police, I would, despite some corruption, side with the government/cops.
