The businesses probably don’t lose.
Won’t the insurance cover them, and then some?
If not, then why aren’t the business owners armed to the teeth protecting their inventory? I certainly would be. Take as many as I could if they wanted a fight.
If no one will stand up and lead, no one can follow.
Some of the business owners are armed and protecting their businesses, including the owners and employees of a tattoo shop which shares a storefront with a gun shop. The gun shop owners and employees are there also. The police saw them and left them to take care of their own property, thank goodness. A Dollar Store in their same strip mall was looted and destroyed.
