I remember reading that during WWII, the Germans printed up huge amounts of British pound notes. They were technically perfect but somehow the Bank of England found them fairly easily.

I can’t recall how right now.

This was their downfall. Should have kept the op in Israel but they probably had good reasons moving to New Jersey. It was probably becoming too dangerous to ship the bills to the US or spend them in Europe.
