Iraq's new president has snubbed the powerful incumbent Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki by nominating the deputy parliament speaker to form the new government.

But the move raises fears of more infighting in the government as the country faces the threat of Sunni militants in the north.

A member of al-Maliki's political bloc said 'we will not stay silent' over the decision.

Hussein al-Maliki, Maliki's son-in-law said: 'The nomination is illegal and a breach of the constitution. We will go to the federal court to object to the nomination.'

Didn’t JFK try this same sort of foreign government meddling for “his” guy in Vietnam?

Obama/Soetoro, turning Iraq into a chaotic mess as he did in Lybia and Egypt.

Too late to Impeach this evil man, damaga is done by HIS policy:

Obama’s 2012 Debate Boast: I Didn’t Want to Leave Any Troops in Iraq
2012 foreign policy presidential debate,

Obama told the American people that he didn’t support leaving any troops in Iraq. “Every time you’ve offered an opinion, you’ve been wrong,” Obama told GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney. “You said that we should still have troops in Iraq to this day.”
Obama then denied that he ever supported a status of forces agreement that would have left troops in Iraq:

MR. ROMNEY: [W]ith regards to Iraq, you and I agreed, I believe, that there should have been a status of forces agreement. Did you —
PRESIDENT OBAMA: That’s not true.
MR. ROMNEY: Oh, you didn’t — you didn’t want a status of forces agreement?
PRESIDENT OBAMA: No, but what I — what I would not have done is left 10,000 troops in Iraq that would tie us down. That certainly would not help us in the Middle East.

“Here’s one thing I’ve learned as commander in chief,” Obama said at the end of the exchange. “You’ve got to be clear, both to our allies and our enemies, about where you stand and what you mean. Now, you just gave a speech a few weeks ago in which you said we should still have troops in Iraq. That is not a recipe for making sure that we are taking advantage of the opportunities and meeting the challenges of the Middle East.”

“I announced a new strategy that would end our combat mission in Iraq and remove all of our troops by the end of 2011. As Commander-in-Chief, ensuring the success of this strategy has been one of my highest national security priorities. Last year, I announced the end to our combat mission in Iraq. And to date, we’ve removed more than 100,000 troops. Iraqis have taken full responsibility for their country’s security.

A few hours ago I spoke with Iraqi Prime Minister Maliki. I reaffirmed that the United States keeps its commitments. He spoke of the determination of the Iraqi people to forge their own future. We are in full agreement about how to move forward.

So today, I can report that, as promised, the rest of our troops in Iraq will come home by the end of the year. After nearly nine years, America’s war in Iraq will be over. “

What is very clear is that Obama himself, as CIC, did not want to leave any troops in Iraq....as we have done for every other war.

Wonder what his advisors were telling him.

Obama thinks that if he lies, but says he didn’t that it’s stricken from the record. Obama was brought up so wrong.

I don’t trust the Obama regime’s judgment that Maliki is the bad guy in this dispute. Note: Three prior interventions by leftist presidents that left defenders of freedom worse off: (1) President Kennedy’s orchestrated murder of President Diem in Vietnam; (2) President Carter’s throwing the Shah of Iran under the bus; and (3) Obama’s lead-from-behind overthrow of Qaddafi in Libya (cheered on by John McCain).
