Ferguson, Missouri (KMOV.com) – What started as a peaceful prayer vigil Saturday evening to remember a young man gunned down by police, has escalated into full scale riots and looting in Ferguson, Missouri.
Angry mobs have smashed windows, set fires and looted businesses as a massive showing of police, some wearing riot gear have moved into the area along West Florissant just south of 270.
Police are also responding to reports of shootings throughout the area. At one point, windows of a News 4 live truck were smashed out by the angry crowd.

The reporter getting hit in the head with a bottle could be classified as a friendly fire incident.
No one is forcing them to live in those self imposed prisons, nor to accept food stamps. They could actually build their own strong communities, schools and even rocket ships but hey that takes personal commitment. It is so much easier to whine and blame others while screaming for social justice and recognition without actually having to earn it.

Are we talking about the rioting? Or are we talking about the shooting of yet another unarmed citizen by the police?

Probably a very bad idea and they know it.
In certain societies, being a criminal is considered a legitimate career path. Getting shot by the mark or the police is considered a crime punishable by riot.

Good point. It’s not looting. It’s shopping.
Plus they'd have to lose their deep-seated mistrust of "the system". Events like this only serve as a catalyst and reinforce their beliefs.

Interesting that not only a culture but an entire generation that has consistently DEMANDED “justice” now finds ^instant gratification^ more appropriate.
It was the Iowa State fair, when they had a “beat whitey” night.
So now the rule is if you are white, don’t be at the Fair after sundown.

The looting has nothing to do with the cop situation. This is on par with ISIS being savages, too. Savages do as savages do.
Undoubtedly this will be blame on the oppression of the black man by whites. Not on the verifiable fact that Obama hasn’t created one job for black people.
I condemn the looting, however the looting probably lets people believe they are taking action
