Of course she is correct and qualified to state this fact, but her network declared her marginalized so the liberal masses will tune this out

That’s letting journalists off too easy.

There simply isn’t any journalism today! It’s a dead profession.

Skating is for Democrats; any Republican president will always face a bulldog press.

Journalism hasn’t gone backwards. It has sold out, and not just since the time of Woodward and Bernstein. The sell out was happening before then. The deal is done. The left owns journalism, just like it owns the media, and Democrats, journalism, media, entertainment and education are all one and he same thing.

“Go where the stink is” —that’s what they used to say. And they did it. Now they’re the stockholm-syndrome, lackey, lick-spittle toadies of The Establishment.

I never expected that a group of putatively objective but VOLUNTARY lackeys could more effective retainers of The Establishment than de jury insiders, but that’s the bitter, modern truth.

But I think we’re seeing the rise of a new electronic Samizdat and these are the waning days of the Liberal Media Monolith, whose biggest enemy is a former gift-shop clerk.

I thought Woodward/Bernstein marked the point where journalism began its rapid decline, though I wouldn’t argue if someone held the opinion that it was Cronkite’s reporting of the Tet Offensive...

Journalism is now nothing more than propaganda. Thankfully we have the internet and people who do what so-called professional journalists used to do.

If you watch the nightly news shows and switch from one to the other, you will see they all report the same stories. Why is that?

Woodward and Bernstein’s brothers/sisters/spouses would be members OF the Obama administration and the story would be put to bed before it went to print.

Much has gone backwards since then. Most notably, our Nation.

Nixon might have skated if he employed the tactics President Barack Obama’s is using in handling his controversies.

LOL! Nixon would be in jail, same as bozo the Clown President would be if the press did their jobs.

Nixon would go on a popular late-night comedy show, during which time, he would humorously refer to his attackers...

On Sunday’s broadcast of ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos,”

Does anyone see the irony here....Yet another product of a Democratic administration in the media.

There’s journalism in the US?

The first newspapers I check are the Daily Mail and the Telegraph from the UK. Even the lefty Guardian from England is better than the shallow pre-digested mono-pablum put out by the US joUrinalist herd.

Read the article on page two by the NYT correspondent who was with the American troops in France in 1944. Not only was the article enjoyable to read because it was clear, descriptive, and well written, but also becasue it was patriotic, siding with America in the battle in France and by inference, in the battle of ideals.

How soon after WWII did that change?

Excuse the French, this is a quote:

“Journalism is not a profession or a trade. It is a cheap catch-all for fuckoffs and misfits — a false doorway to the backside of life, a filthy piss-ridden little hole nailed off by the building inspector, but just deep enough for a wino to curl up from the sidewalk and masturbate like a chimp in a zoo-cage.”
