A former Prince George’s County teacher won a $350,000 jury award after accusing the school system of discriminating against him because he is white.
Jon Everhart alleged in his lawsuit against the Prince George’s County school board that a black principal forced him out of his job because of his race.
“Justice was served,” Everhart said. “I do feel as though I have been vindicated.”
Everhart, 65, speaking by phone from Ohio after the verdict in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, said he faced years of racial harassment from the Largo High School principal, who he said repeatedly told staffers and students that she planned to fire him.
“She called me ‘poor white trash’ and ‘white b----,’ ” Everhart said of the principal, Angelique Simpson-Marcus, who leads the 1,100-student school in Upper Marlboro. “Her behavior was so outlandish.”
Doesn’t sound like nearly enough.

About par for the course. PG county is a mess in a state that is a mess.
On a side note.. Turned on the radio yesterday and Rick Edelston was offering financial advice. A Chicago teacher called in to see if she should be doing more to prepare for her retirement in 3 years. Her pension will be $75,000 a year, house and car are paid for, insurance is paid for by taxpayers. She already had $450,000 in savings and a $450,000 house free and clear. Her monthy expenses run $1,200. Edelston thought she was in pretty good shape and was not too worried for her. Kinda makes you feel good all over knowing these ‘workfare’ people will enjoy a happy retirement.
Yet when a member of their community does rise to the top, what is said to that person? Uncle Tom! Peer pressure to not be so 'White', gang force to show underclass unity.
I was recently leaving my doctor’s office...A set of double doors at the top of concrete steps led down to the parking lot...An old black fella was working slowly to get to the top steps...He had a cane in one hand was was holding onto the rail with the other one...
I saw him thru the doors and when I departed I held the one door open for him...He made it to the doors and instead of going thru the door I was holding open, he went to the other door and struggled to get it open and then walked thru...
As he was going thru the other door, I just chuckled out loud and said, ‘whatever’...
I wonder if she has an ID that she could show to vote?
They are so difficult to obtain...
This is what we like to see.
Now, how about the countless other schools, and in all the other states?
Since Obama took office, it’s been open season on Whites.
There are millions more who deserve to sue and win.
Where are the hate crime charges against the principal?
Yes my brother in law used to live there in a small mostly white neighborhood surrounded by black neighborhoods. It was really kind of hysterical to drive through the neighborhood next door with $400,000 houses and a portable basketball hoop in every driveway.

I’m a cynical person, but I have to give him the benefit of the doubt that it might have been the “handicapped” thing instead of a black thing.

Only if they rise in afield involving reading, writing, or arithmetic; they are quite supportive of well-paid athletes and actors. As long as they view education as “uncool” or “white”, they’d better get used to every non-English minority group that washes ashore here quickly leaving them in the dust. They’ll always be patronizing somebody else’s business, because operating one requires reading, writing, and arithmetic; on top of that, blacks that do “make it” have no interest in being killed by the welfare bastards of those who don’t even try.
They definitely do feel entitled, but they know they lag behind whites and increasingly, Hispanics, in very basic skills. The open southern border was the death knell for our blacks in the permanent underclass; whereas before there had to be some accomodation to fit them into the workforce, they now have absolutely no economic role (save as consumers of goods & services in the most Godforsaken places in this country).

$350K really isn’t enough $ but the vindication is worth a lot.
Government jobs are a way of providing a middle class lifestyle to otherwise unemployable Americans.

However, PG is so heavily African-American, it’s county board, school board, etc., that they could fire her without any perception of racial bias against her. She has simply cost the school district $350K (plus possible attorney fees, as most civil rights cases are ‘fee shifting’ to the loser), so up to $1M. And she’s caused them incalculable damage to their reputation (such as you and I might think of it). She clearly violated federal laws.
