JERUSALEM -- A captured Hamas combat manual belonging to the Al-Qassam Brigades, the terrorist organization's military wing, confirms what Hamas sympathizers and the United Nations have done their best to ignore for weeks: Hamas deliberately uses its civilians as human shields, and knows that Israel will take extreme precautions not to kill those civilians.
According to the contents of the manual, posted on the IDF blog, Hamas calls civilians "pockets of resistance" that force Israeli soldiers into several sets of problems:

Hamas calls civilians "pockets of resistance" that force Israeli soldiers into several sets of problems... It's going to force Israel to develop explosive-carrying drones that are the size of a mosquito.

Than use nonlethal weapons to force civilians out of the combat area. Microwaves and heat, load noise or Barry Manilow CD, chemical smell or fart machine, bacon and pig blood, find something that forces the civilians to run and flee the area and bomb who ever stays behind.

And to think I get sick when even my cat gets frightened! We are in a life and death struggle, here, and the West better get used to it or die.

I’m reminded how Iraq’s Saddam Husein used human shields to protect his many palaces.

I’m thinking that the Nazi’s had a lot of human shields around Hamburg, how did that work out for them?? Not so good. The point is, when there is a life or death struggle during a war, there are not shields, not if you want to overcome the enemy that is.
Shields may work on Star Trek, not in real life. Yeah I know it is cold hearted but how do you think these roaches would handle the issue if the shoe were on the other foot? Not so good for you I think.

Yeah that is weird, especially being a political and social organization formed to help the poor and destitute.

And don’t forget the clever Japanese: They moved manufacturing machinery into peoples houses. So General LeMay burned the whole thing down. It makes the argument that the general population is part of the problem and a legitimate target. Holding back just makes the fight last longer and we’ve seen that right now in Gaza. If the Israelis don’t sweep that rathole clean of weapons they will not have been successful.
As part of the current cease fire the Israelis are offering to help re-build Gaza in exchange for all the weapons. But they had better damm well have those weapons in hand first before they pound a single nail or even clean the roads. Or it will all be for nothing.

Hamas will continue to pursue it's sworn objective to kill every man woman and child in Israel. The real question is whether or not Iran will provide them with the weapon to do it. Bibi knows the end game here and that end game is Iran finishing its development of its atomic bomb.

Show the manual to Ban Ki Moon and the other scum-bucket UN reps.
Nobody is interested in the truth here, it's just another opportunity to assault Israel.
Since the UN supported the creation of the Jewish state in 1948 they have been dong everything in their power to reverse that decision.
UNWRA must be disbanded. The UN must be removed from New York.

...love the Barry Manilow weapon. Maybe the IDF can pump in his greatest hits and then watch as the HAMAS fighters surrender. If they still do not surrender, it's time to use Barbara Streisand’s greatest hits...that will smoke them out!

‘Tis interesting, this 6 and 9 August, how the problem the article poses utterly escaped Harry Truman. And General LeMay. And Air Marshal Sir Arthur Harris.
