A retired American doctor who was working with Ebola patients in West Africa returned to the United States -- and put himself in quarantine.
MTI declined to discuss details of how Jamison traveled back to the United States, including whether he was on a commercial flight.
Jamison, 69, said he's had no symptoms of the deadly virus, but has been in seclusion since he returned to his hometown of Morristown, Tennessee.
The father of three said his daughter picked him up from the airport and dropped him at home, where he's quarantined himself and has had no contact with anyone since.
He plans to be in isolation for 21 days, which is the incubation period for the disease -- or the time between infection and onset of symptoms.

Yeah I know they did, and as evil as they saw Bush, even he could not get the civil unrest going as good as the community organizer.
All I can say, is I sure hope your right... just a sickening gut feeling... a feeling that has been wrong before, but not often. I have been an optimist for going on 50 years, but lately it would depend on the specific day as to whether the glass was half full or half empty now, I really don’t like that change either...
He wanted the best health care treatment in the world. We still provide it to elites and doctors who push into the limelight.
I have not read that. So sad.
Who is Sawyer?
And his daughters? Are they in voluntary quarantine? And the people on the plane with him? What a jerk. I’ll bet the ‘do no harm’ doctor is a liberal narcissistic fool.
they seem to forget that it's us unwashed masses that let them live the life of luxury that they're accustomed to.
They don't realize the implications for themselves if there were to be that kind of die off from something this serious.
It looks to me that the masses of Dem voters are most at risk.
I’d expect the fedgov to attack this very hard.
“The horses are out of the barn, but hey, let me just close this here gate.”
They created the situation.
I for one, am glad that I do NOT live in a city.
And I am prepping for a long term situation that may need months to resolve.
I always get ready before winter anyway since we’re a significant distance from a city and stores. I hate hauling stuff in through the snow, slop, and ice.
However, this time I am stocking up on some medical supplies before they are at risk of being contaminated. Whatever is in stock on the shelves now is not likely to be.
In a few weeks, that may not be the case. Anything produced overseas starting probably in the next month, I would consider at risk for being contaminated.
Now is the time to get ready.

I suggest spraying the packages with hydrogen peroxide before opening them.
The contents need to be sterile as well.
If the outside of the packages is contaminated, I’d guess the insides could be as well although I do realize that the outsides are more exposed to stuff so it is a good idea.
I’m thinking of stocking up on clorox and a spray bottle.
Common household bleach is in the 3-8% range of sodium hyperchlorite. The medicos are using 10%+ solutions for decontamination. Those concentrations are available, just not at your neighbor grocery.
If the outside of the packages is contaminated, you will be the cause of the insides becoming contaminated. That is why I suggest cleaning the outside before opening it.

Do you know of a good source of calcium hypochlorite?
I understand that what is used for pools is often recommended against because it contains other substances that would make it not recommended for treating drinking water.
I don't doubt that could and will happen.
I also do not trust that the inside of the package was not contaminated either by accident or on purpose.
If this stuff is being produced in third world countries, I am immediately suspect that it could be contaminated with anything.
Any local pool store should have it, also Ebay. One pound bag should last you a very long time. It usually comes in a plastic bag. You need to transfer it to something more suitable> I place mine in a mylar bag and then placed it in a used plastic coffee can. Gloves and mask are a must when handling.
Here’s a good article on it:
