Has she sued the mother yet?
Lucky young lady to have a mom who cares.
Yes, hopefully this kid will see the light
Good for the Mom...but is girl laughing or crying?
What is any parent allowing their kids to post on facebook for?
there is no reason for it.
No. They cannot handle it.
THe best, most logical, intelligent, reasonable child does not, until he or she is past ninth grade cannot fathom permanence or the future.
They cannot understand the hurt that can come to them or that they can give anonymously or from kids in school.
None of them can elarn proper social skills without face to face contact.
And there is no reason for them to be on facebok
Saying no to it is very difficult for a parent.
The thanks one gets when the child is in 11th grade, with healthy friends and social skills, good grades, acquaintances who are regretful of sexting etc, is priceless.
Parenting is work.
Just say no.
People think crony capitalists who fund the border invasion, the medical and pharmaceutical industry and Hollywood and pop culture are going to allow studies of the psychological danger of facebook to middle school age children to get done, released and discussed.
Grow up.
That kid looks sad. I’ll bet a lot sadder than when the mother first said no to facebook, before finally giving in.
This is not epic. It’s abusive.
The parents who say no don’t get the epic recognition but they are out there and they are the epic ones.
NO!
come on mom, you know she got to be available to vice and consenting to all the crap she can buy or serve the government with.
Sounds like Mom’s major objection wasnt that the kid HAD liquor, but that she posted a photo of her with liquor. If so that really misses the point.
Way to go, Mom! Reminds me of the father that took his daughter’s laptop (or whatever) after he told her not to violate his standards. She did and he did. The big deal was Dad promised to shoot her device with his .45 and did so and then posted it online. The usual suspects went nuts and foamed about violence and implied threats and all the usual blather.
Draw a line, Mom and Dad. The kiddies need them to keep them from the bad people in the world.
My sister in law shut down my niece’s Facebook page last summer when they caught her posting unacceptable stuff. She may be back on by now but has her account checked daily to see what she’s posting. Kids ya gotta watch em every minute. LOL!
